Alice stared at Auran in surprise and Nova sighed impatiently. "Why are we stuck with the rejects?" she twirled her katana and brought the tip down into the Heartless' head. Pinning it to the ground like a bug in a collection. She stepped on it and ground her boot into it, "I hate Heartless...this is why Alice became the Keyblade Master and not me." Alice limped to Auran and hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry..." she sobbed into his chest.
Demitri remembered how dumb he thought Ryku was to put his number on speed dial, but now...it was very handy. His brother picked up right away as always, "Hello? Demitri? Where'd you go? Where are you? Hello!?" Coughing again, a little harder, Demitri shifted the phone closer to his mouth. He didn't need to hear, only speak, "Ryku....come get me...I was....stabbed." he told him his location with an odd amount of detail and Ryku cursed loudly through the phone, promising he'd come get him right away. Struggling to stay awake, Demitri focused on Lynne and raised his voice to reach her, "Hey...girly....I want...a r-rematch. Don't you go and....die on me now...I won't...let'cha..." he groaned in pain as he sat up and cautiously eased himself toward her. Lynne's breathing had gone thready and she couldn't feel anything but the slow, steady flow of her blood leaving her body as Alex's pressure lessened with her panic. She barely heard Demitri but his movement toward her was obvious. She struggled to make her fingers move, even to wiggle, it was like taking a Calculus test without studying. Her eyes glazed and streaming with tears, either from herself or from Alex above her focused on Alex's crying face, "Don't...cry..." it was the most she could manage now. Just a few words.
Xenree woke with a splitting headache. Her vision blurred for a second before clearing with a clarity she didn't exactly want. Orais...that's right...I sent him away... she frowned, she remembered her feelings toward her friend but they were absent now. "So this is what it's like to be a Nobody..." Crowley stood before her and helped her sit up, "Yes, now you don't have to worry about your feelings making you weak and unable to control the darkness." Xenree wondered if he was right. She remembered Orias' promise to get stronger...Just live up to it now...Orias...don't you go and die on me now. "Where are we?" Crowley sighed, "We, my precious little Nobody, are inside a castle of oblivion. Know where?" Xenree knew exactly what he meant, "Castle Oblivion...."
Lynne forced her eyes to stay open even though she couldnt' focus on anyone. Their voices sounded far away now and a numb feeling spread through her limbs. "H-hey....it's...alright now.... I d...on't feel...the pain...anymore." A little bit of knowledge wormed into her head quietly whispering something about that being a bad thing. She didn't want to move anymore. Demitri gurgled in his bloody state. He had to get up...if anything move away from the psycho Runners. If the little girl had stabbed him without him knowing she'd taken his knife. The others must be equally or more so dangerous. In this state, he'd die in a matter of hours after Lynne did. His illness made him cough more blood into his mouth and splattering his face. "Ry...ku..." he mumbled quietly and fumbled numb fingers for his cell.
Luce growled. Their tones weren't to her liking, especially when talking to Lenny, the man who'd saved her from herself. Her hand tightening on her favorite darker colored pistol, she growled louder, "Watch your tones children. How about you show some respect for the man who's taken you in when no one else would. Or..." a tight, cold smile spread across her lips, "Would you like me to put a bullet in your temple to end your misery?" Her alternative probably made Lenny upset, but at the moment she just wanted to kill something...and the new 'family members' were right front and center.
Lightning had almost turned around to laugh at Jaden, but the battle demanded her attention. As soon as Omega jumped in front of her and spoke to her thoughts she growled back to him, speaking aloud, "You'll have to ask me a thousand times to dismiss him! I don't take orders from a Crystal l'Cie or your fal'Cie! I. Am. Not. A. Slave!" she yelled even as Odin switched to his gesault mode. Also...stop using my real name. It's Lightning to you. she though coldly toward him. Weak from the attacks and unwilling to fight Omega too, she grimaced and grabbed the double sided scythe and climbed onto Odin's back. "Shinryu! C'mon, we've gotta get away while we still have blood in our bodies." Without leaving the boy much of a choice, she grabbed his hand and pulled him on behind her and took off away from the King. Odin's time was running out and he movd somewhat slower. Light moaned in pain as she tried to keep him here by sheer force of will, though she didn't leave much will to keep herself conscious. Akira had yelped when Jaden picked her up and again when Mia made him drop her. Akira slowly moved backwards, watching Light. When Lightning started to come towards them, she ran full on away from the King Tonberry. "Jaden, follow you're own advice and move! Mya, c'mon!"
In Xenree's unconscious mind, she remembered a time when she played with Orias alone. She and him watched the sun set over the ocean and she protected him from everything. Before Trixis had come, she watched over him.
ooc: I get the feeling everyone's misconstrued the Keyblade Graveyard's entrance to the Realm of Incompleteness. It isn't a door it's a sealed portal in a rock. For those that played BBS it's like Vanitas' Lingering Reminant's mark. If that's not what it is...then ignore this, I was just making sure. bic: The Sorceress slapped Hestia away and casted Force on her. Cloud persisted in his attack. Lunging for Sephiroth again. Renee cradled his head against her, "Roxas...." Xion hudled herself into a ball in the corner and rocked herself to keep calm. Saix ignored the rest of the commotion going on and held her close to him.
ooc: it came after I'd started writing. i didn't see it until after i'd posted. bic: Saix ripped through the dark corridor into Radient Garden beside Mage. His eyes widened as he saw her and wrapped his arms around her. "You're safe...Thank Kingdom Hearts..." Cloud sliced at Sephiroth. Vincent slashed at Kadaj with his clawed arm, unwilling to let Cerberus go.
The light reflected off a wall and headed upwards, dragging Xenree with it. THe light sent her flying upwards and through the ceiling of the castle. Xenree felt the power of the light burn through her and knocked her unconscious. Crowley picked up her body from the ground and carried her into a dark corridor. "The amount of beauty and power in this one...will make me a very satisfied man."
Lynne smiled and her eyes started to close. "No..he's right....I shouldn't....get my hopes...so high..." Her smile died on her lips and her eyes unfocused as they drifted shut.
The Sorceress was surrounded by a pulsing purple energy. It sparkled as it swarmed around her and lifted into a dark ball above her. Her form wavered from the old woman to a young woman with brown hair and glasses. Akii pointed to her, "See...?" Eventually her form stayed as the young woman. She looked dazed. Vincent had felt the blow before Mage could attack and staggered backwards, trying to keep his guard steady. He lifted Cerberus again, trying to find Kadaj again. ooc: what about Sephiroth and Cloud? They're still fighting.
Xenree stood beside Crowley and faced a stone tablet with written words in a different language. As Crowley translated, Xenree was at war with herself. Seeing Orias so broken had triggered something else inside her. "It's my fault...." Crowley snorted, "The boy was weak. He'll live. Don't fret. It doesn't become you." Xenree felt her rage flare again, "Shut up..." Her wings tightly folded against her back in anger and once Crowley had finished translating and doing something with his blood on the tablet and taking hers and smearing it on the tablet, a bright blue light split from the tablet and engulfed her. Gritting her teeth against the pressure, Xenree faced the light.
Vincent grabbed the sword and gave him a hard silent glare. "You don't want to do that." Akii threw Brightcrest and knocked over another pillar, destroying it and ran after Ashir, pulling on him. "NO, wait!" She touched a hand to the ground, "Mateus!" The great demi-goddess of Ice rose from the ground and slashed the rest of the pillars. The Sorceress moaned words again, "Ooh, it's my fault....so sad...." Xenree let darkness surround Roxas, warping him somewhere else.
Martel smiled and mock covered her mouth, "How did I know? My...aren't you all the intriguing bunch." Martel giggled lightly, "In truth...I've always wanted to see the different worlds." she sighed and toned down her excitement, "But my duty to my city and people....it's too great." Ash smirked and Neo glared at him. The boys silently fighting and Apollimi smiled, "A firm decision and a good one. Neo is...well he has a small attention span and his duty to the people is much more than he thinks." Neo growled and Enoch snarled back at him, "Don't growl at your mother." Ash bowed low to the Gods and took Lynn's hand, a cocky smile on his lips, "Any place you want to go first? We've got the entire day to spend and then we'll go home so you can get settled." Adrien frowned, "Hey...I can do this perfectly fine... Plus, you're starting to sound just like those Haven warriors." he sulked and followed her. "Cat...I'm stronger than I look. Fear and cowardice are different things. I may be afraid, but I'm no coward." his eyes hardened as he looked at her and then into the forest.
Unlike Hestia thought, the Sorceress attacked Hestia. A nonelemental Flare burst around her. Another pillar dropped it's defense and cast Aeroaga and Akii caught Brightcrest again, taking a moment to regain her energy.
I'd like to start soon but this weekend is busy for me so we'll start some time next week to the weekend. It's never to late to join and anybody you guys think would be interested, you can ask them to join. :)
Akii focused and Brightcrest formed in her hand. Throwing it at the casting pillar she sliced into it and broke the pillar of Self Infliction. With one down, the Sorceress sighed a bit in relief as the rest cast another Absorb on her.
Lynne nodded weakly and opened her mouth to speak again and blood gagged her. Coughing, she gasped and grabbed his hand applying pressure, "I went to him...he....he wanted to thank me. That was it. Th-thank me. I can't...belive I was so...s-stupid... He doesn't like me..." Demitri coughed hard. His illness taking it's toll now and blood came bubbling up to his lips.
One pillar faultered in the defense the one casting and now another one dropped it's defense to cast Blizzaga. Akii switched her defense spell to Blizzard Guard for Ashir and herself.
