Her golden eyes narrowed, "Because we came back here so you could get more weapons for Kingdom Hearts knows what!? I have a right to be cold!" she glared at him, hands on hips.
Alice turned to face him and scanned his new outfit. She sighed, it was like trying to find the harmless piece of hay in a stack of needles. "Why all the knives Auran...?" her tone was slightly colder, it reminded her of Nova.
Alice stared out the window. She hadn't heard a word he said. Her forehead touched the cold glass and she realized something that made her laugh quietly but bitterly...
Alice nodded shortly before summoning her Keyblade and cutting a hole in her portal, that lead back to the house. "I.....I don't know what to say Auran..." She truely didn't. What do you say to someone who just told you he'd end his life for her if it were a choice of ending her own or his.
Alice bit her lip until she tasted blood and folded onto the ground, "You....you mustn't die....I won't let you..." Her hands reached for him, "I can't allow you to kill yourself."
Alice bit her lip quietly wishing she'd never said anything. She swallowed and shivered, "I'm sorry.....I'm sorry.....I'm sorry...." she mumbled quietly.
Renee sighed following everyone out the door with a last look at her old sort of home. Renee felt an odd twinge of remorse and excitement flutter through her. At least....I won't have to focus on those dreams for a while anymore...
Alice grabbed his shoulder, "He'll never relinquish his control over me. With his vine still intact, he can summon me at will. I have no choice but to go to him." Panic overwelmed her at the thought of Auran again getting involved with Istar and her fight and words rushed from her mouth, "Thesecondwaytokillhimistokillme!"
Alice opened her mouth to respond and shut it, considering her answer. "There are two ways to kill him....neither easy. The first, we'd both have to sever our bond with each other. Mine was cut a long time ago...he refuses to cut his to me. And no one can force another to cut a bond with a person. It'd be like someone telling you to cut the vine that connects us together." She hesitated on the second.
Alice simply shook her head, "He won't die....ever...until I do..." Alice focused on her bonds to people and let them appear physical. A half golden half red thick vine threaded from Alice's heart to Auran's and another pure silver vine with leaves and a single wilted rose on it lead from Alice's heart to somewhere down the portal, she gestured to it, "This is my bond with Nova...because she's dead...half of our bond is failing." The rose was Nova's heart, the stem of the rose, Alice's unwillingness to let go. A third ran from Alice into the darkness of her portal. It had several thorns and appeared cut up and damaged, "Istar's bond with me....isn't gone and thus Istar is still alive. Istar is bound to me by heart and soul. His life is apart of mine...."
She frowned briefly, "You're friend isn't the only one who's out for Nova and my heads...and yours. Istar..." she didn't believe she needed to say more. Istar...the one name she hated with a passion that almost frightened herself.
Barely three minutes passed before she felt the small answering pulse of Istar's breath on her neck. She stopped and glanced behind her, an old paranoia returning. Istar wasn't behind her and she grew nervous slightly. "I'm fine Auran. Just a little busy...."
Alice shook her head and continued walking through her portal of light. Istar....c'mon...you actually want me to believe you're dead after that long speech? she thought and kept her anger directed toward her idiot of a fiance rather than at the man beside her.
Alice whimpered in pain, "You...Auran I won't allow you to put yourself in harms way for me. I am, after all, a Keyblade Master. I'm stronger than you."
Alice's lips thinned and she closed her eyes. "You're going to do something stupid to protect me too aren't you...." Alice knew Nova wouldn't give a damn if someone tired to kill her. She'd probably decapitate them. Alice on the other hand, cared whether someone threatened the man she loved and herself.
Alice planted her feet on the ground and narrowed her eyes, "What are you talking about Auran? Who?" She didn't believe anyone would want to tango with Nova...but messing with Alice was a must on their behalf.
Alice frowned, "You do?" Alice couldn't fathom how Auran would know anything about who'd want to hurt her. So much of her past was a blur to even herself...a lot of it tainted red and black with darkness and blood.
Luce was about to follow him and hesitated. "L-lenny....I'm...I'm running low on demon blood. We...haven't hunted a demon in a while and I...I've noticed I'm a little irritated around the others. I need to keep calm." She lowered her head to the ground, Luce knew very well that her addiction was awful and her head pulsed painfully when she thought about how little of it she'd had in the past few days. Luce licked her lips and shuddered. "Please Lenny...."
Lightning jerked when she heard Cid's voice. "You...!" Her hand instinctively went to her gunblade and by now her anger was making her long to punch someone. Switching to Commando Lightning let a Ruinaga flourish in her hand. Cid had used Snow's line and that stung. "Shut up!" icy eyes blazing she threw the Ruinaga at Cid and Argent and followed her spell with a sharp gunblade. Akira didn't know where Light suddenly gained such a strong spell like Ruinaga but she followed Light. "Ryou c'mon!" she glanced momentarily behind her at Ryou and hurtled toward Cid and Argent.
Alice's eyes opened and the image disappeared, "That Heartless was no ordinary Heartless. It was created from darkness and poison for the specific reason of infecting Nova. I wouldn't know who would want to hurt her though...." Alice frowned and looked up at him, curious, "You sure look odd...are you sure you're alright?"
