Spoiler ~Crystal Order HQ~ Spoiler "What the-" Discord said when he noticed CFW Magic about to attack him, startling him. "Phew, thanks for that," Discord told the Crystal Order member who saved him. Realizing that Arfoire was called a goddess by CFW Magic, Discord rolled his eyes. 'It's ridiculous,' he thought to himself, 'There are so many damn individuals out there that call themselves "gods" and "goddesses", yet they'll always have a weakness or two. And there are even different individuals calling themselves the god of the same thing. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're fakes, all of them.' Meanwhile, Al Mualim gladly shook Arfoire's hand, and said, "Of course my dear, whatever you wish." Al Mualim then grabbed one of the fire-heated branding irons, and handed it to Astral-S, telling it, "Would you do the honors?" ------------------------------------------------------ ~Phil Coulson's Home~ After arriving back to his home, Phil Coulson slouched on his sofa, relieved to finally be back in the safety of his home after what had yesterday and today. "Home sweet home," Coulson said. Thinking back, Coulson remembered dropping off John Smith in downtown Tokyo during the Abductor incident. He never heard from him since. Reaching towards his cell phone, Phil dialed John's number. After a few seconds, Smith replied, saying, "Hello?" "John, it's me Phil," Coulson answered. "Phil! It's great to hear from you. How are you?" John Smith asked. "I'm doing fine, thank you," Phil replied, deciding not to tell him about what had happened to him, "But tell me, what about your mom? Is she alright" "Oh yes, thank the Lord," Smith answered, "I've been by her side since yesterday. Though, she wanted to go out again today, and I insisted we stay at home. Good thing I she listened to me, have you seen the riots? Crazy, crazy crazy..." "Yeah I did," Phil Coulson said, "Though I was at a friend's place in a quiet neighborhood somewhere in the Minato district, so I didn't see the riots myself." "That's good. Some rioters actually passed by our place. Luckily, none of our property was damaged. Can't say the same about some of our neighbors though." John Smith said. "Yeah, it's been a pretty rough two days for the country lately," Coulson commented. "I know... Guess all we could do is pray things don't get worse," the English teacher replied. "Yeah... well, guess I'll see you on Friday then?" Coulson asked. "Definitely! Bye Phil!" Smith replied. "Goodbye," Phil said as he hung up. ------------------------------------------------- Spoiler ~Flashback: 25 Years Ago - Graveyard: Captain Edward Kenway's Funeral~ Spoiler Spoiler: BGM "... and so, we stand here not to mourn Captain Edward Kenway, but to celebrate his life, and the sacrifices he made. It was clear to all those he knew that the love he had for his country was unquestionable, and that he would give his very life to defend it from any threats it faced..." Frollo said during his eulogy for Edward Kenway. Friends and comrades of his were in attendance, as well as his son Haytham. Edward's coffin was covered by a flag of Japan, with a wreath laid over it. "... and one must not forget that this is a reminder to all of us. Each one of us will die one day. That is an unavoidable fact of life. We all belong to our Lord, and to him, we shall return," Frollo said ending his eulogy. "Tenshun!" a drill sergeant yelled, followed by three military cadets with rifles. A military official then started playing a tune with a trumpet, and the people attending the funeral gave a salute for Captain Kenway. The drill sergeant yelled "Fire!", and the cadets each fired up in the air three times in honor of the fallen captain. 1 hour later... "Your father was an exceptional man Haytham, never forget," Achilles told Haytham, shaking his hand. "Thank you Achilles," Haytham replied as Achilles left the graveyard. "Hey Haytham," a voice called out to Haytham. Turning around, Haytham noticed his father's closest friends, Lt. Surge and his Raichu, Jack Sparrow, Adéwalé, and Odin. "I'm real sorry about your old man. He was a good friend of us all. More like a brother actually," Surge said. "If you need anything, just let us know. We're all here for you," Jack Sparrow added, "You are a part of our family." "Raichu," Raichu said, nodding in agreement. Smiling, Haytham said, "Thank you, all of you." Adéwalé patted Haytham on the back, and the group left the graveyard. Haytham was then approached by Al Mualim, his old high school principal. "Oh Haytham my boy, I am truly sorry to hear about your father. He was a man of honor and dignity. He has touched all of our hearts, and his loss affects us all very deeply," the principal told Haytham as he hugged him. "Thank you very much sir. I appreciate it, I really do," Haytham replied. "Now then... will you be going home?" Al Mualim asked, "Because if not, there is something I really want to show you?" "What do you wish to show me sir?" Haytham asked. "You'll see soon enough my boy, you'll see..." Al Mualim said, putting his arm around Haytham's shoulder, and escorting him out of the graveyard. Little did Haytham know that soon, he would devote himself to a cause his father disliked intensely.
