Well, I've been wanting to commit suicide since I was 11, but then something happened. I thought about those who would be sad if I were gone. I guess imaging my friends and family crying at my funeral is what made think twice. I'll admit I still have those thoughts every now and then, but then that picture comes in my head and I cry it out or write about it instead. Surround your friend with people who care about him/her and just be there for him/her. You know what I mean? instead of trying to tell them what to do, listen to what they have to say and just be a good friend to him/her.
