I had the same problem once. I'd say, crush it and buy a better one.

Xaldin was hard, but I could beat him the first time I fought him. Xigbar took me a couple of times. After Xigbar and Xaldin, the hardest would be Saix. Oh, bless Donald's soul...
I'm stuck. I love Saix's Claymore, Lexaeus' Tomahawk, Axel's Chakrams and Larxene's knife thingemajigs...

I'm always more of a defensive fighter like Goofy. Though, the sword is probably the most balance choice, but I choose the shield.

Yeah, I still like Saix a lot better than Xigbar. He's just cooler, and he was more like an actual Nobody than Xigbar. Xigbar had a playful personality. Saix had no personality at all, except for that last scene he appeared in where he showed a small sense of regret.
