You know, considering the lack of news for 2.5, I'm thinking 2.5 will be the main focus in E3 as far as KH-related stuff goes.
Just as the Xbox One got a confirmed release date for Japan (due to be released Sept. 4), the Japanese Xbox site also updated its website with pages for many upcoming Xbox One games. 'Dismiss' is definitely my personal favorite version of Destati. I would also like to make an honorable mention to 'My Heart's Descent' and 'The Eye of Darkness', mostly because they came at a time when I was growing VERY tired of Destati (thanks to Re:coded and the early KH3D trailers), but listening to them made me say "Awesome! They made Destati cool again!"
I personally am waiting until I get a job before getting one. Hopefully by the time I do, there would already be a bunch of games I'm interested in, like Batman Arkham Knight, Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Resogun, Tomb Raider (which I didn't get for my PS3), and many other stuff. I think these games could keep me busy until KH3 is out.
