Teren stopped at a 7-UP and picked up a large cherry slurpie.As he left the shop,he felt as if the air had changed.He looked around cautiously."..Hollow?"he muttered to himself,wondering what the change was.
"..Hitsugaya,huh?"Teren aid,impressed with both her first and last name.He applauded silently."..I'm Teren..odd name,but many kids here have them."he said,giving her a small bow before turning around.He gave her his cell phone number in case she ever got in trouble."..I'll see you around."he said before disappearing with a flash step. "Because..when trouble stirs,a Soul Reaper is there..and since you know them,I want to know your name..in case I need to find you and your little group..got it?"Teren asked her.
"..None of your concern..but if a Hollow showed its face,you'd find out quickly..what's your name?"Teren asked her,slowly approaching her again.Was he really that intimidating?

As Kaori passed,Teren spoke to her."..So,Soul Reaper.."he said,hoping to catch her attention.She didn't seem to be listening anyway,but there were other ways to get someones attention."..Going out on patrol?"he asked
The young man watched as one of the group broke off,heading off on their own with their head down.He'd question her while she passed him.
Noticing that most students had left,Teren kept his eye on the large group ahead of him.
Teren leaned against the school's outer wall,watching as students left the area,saying goodbye after a long day."..And still no Hollows yet."he muttered.

Teren left the school without looking back.In truth,he'd rather be destroying Hollows than sit in a classroom with a bunch of dull idiots.The ones with unusual spirit energy intrigued him,but he'd keep wondering to himself about it. At least until circumstances were different.
Teren slowly arose when the bell rang.He felt Kaori's eyes on him and he held back a smile.That confirmed it..she was no ordinary girl..but she was still little!He grabbed his bag and headed out of the classroom. He took a different route,planning to leave instead of stay.

Why am I even here?I know all of this.. Teren thought,shutting the History Book and looking around at the class.He found Kaori,and noticed that her spiritual pressure was..intriguing.Could she be a...nah,no way..not a little girl like her. However,to see if she could react to a spike of spiritual energy,Teren slowly raised his up,but looked out the window,acting as if he was doing nothing.
