Last night I played at a fancey restraunt with 6 other rappers/bands. That went from 9 P.M.-2 A.M. I had to sing and play guitar, bass, and drums with no breaks. That really tired me out but that got my band well known. Our band composes of Brandon Hall: Lead Vocals & Bass (Occasionally rythm guitar) Peter Laurence: Lead Guitar Robert Buck: Drums We still need a name and a rythm guitar player. Saturday we're playing at a fancey ball that lasts from Noon to Midnight.
I chuckled when I watched it on TV. Yeah it's the one from the "Human" music video. They protested for like a day or two then they quit becuase of security or something like that pushed them back.
Did anybody hear about how Brandon Flowers was almost mauled by PETA for wearing that dress jacket with the feathers on it?
I find them to be an interesting band with a lot of potential. Their album Hot Fuss was really good. I'm a little dissapointed in their new stuff. Brandon Flowers has the right voice and he used it right on Hot Fuss but the new stuff to me, is obnoxious. He also seems less energetic in the new stuff if you compare Mr.Brightside to Human. I still find The Killers to be one of my favorite bands.
Fol I'm sure I've been forgotten, sorry I've been gone so long. I've been praticing a whole lot and I've achieved: Decent drum skills, decent guitar skills, godly bass skills, and I've been expirementing with my voice for better and worse. One thing I've learned is my voice has quite a difference when I put my force into my bowels rather then my throat. With drums you see people spaz out but I have found it's easier to be calm when you play. Guitar you need to pratice a lot to develop a callous in your fingers so it doesn't hurt when you hold down. Bass same thing as guitar but for me I have my own special style of playing it.
I love global warming during the winter =D Global warming makes more moisture in the air and seeing as it's cold outside. Cold air + Lots of moisture= lots o snow. I've got 1' 3" of snow outside.
