Xardius sat up, slamming his head into the bulkhead in front of him. "Ow," Xardius said. He looked around, not surprised to see Vexneah slumped against a wall. He was surprised to see Nulix and Vecked both sleeping in the same room. Shrugging, he got up and stretched. If only he could find better places to fall asleep... Walking into another room, he saw Wing and Coa sitting down, both concentrating on something. "What are you two bubs doing?" Xardius asked, folding his arms. Wing's eyes snapped open. "Well, um, uh...trying to recombine...?" "WHAT?" Xardius yelped, grabbing Wing and yanking him away from Coa. "WHY THE BLINKIN' HECK ARE YOU TRYIN' TO DO THAT?" "'Cause, it's what we're...Look I dunno, it's just what happens when you meet your other...I guess..." Wing stammered. "Not necessarily," Xardius said, dropping Wing onto his feet. "I don't think you're quite ready to 'recombine' yet...Coa, isn't it about time you went back home...and reported to the guardians?" Coa folded his arms, a pure imitation of Xardius. "You don't hold rank anymore, Darius..." "Xardius," Xardius growled. "And don't forget...I can still whoop you, dead or not. By the way, seen any Heartless recently?" "As a matter of fact, we just defeated a massive army of them not too long ago. Then I was given this assignment...So here I am. I'm not coming home without Highwind." "Highwind's a goner," Xardius smirked. "Next time I meet him, he's toast..." "But I thought he was your best friend before..." Coa said, frowning. "Things change..." Xardius said slowly. OOC: Wooh, what a typer...But no one's here so...By the way, Mighty, we're on a mission to the worlds, looking for map pieces that will eventually lead us to a mage named Retlaw, who can tell us where all the Enigmatic Knights are and how to defeat them...We're in Disney Castle right now, but I don't expect we'll be hanging around too much longer.
OOC: Our computer's been having problems lately, so to help it along, I (Wirdikov) am switching all of my stuff over to DarKnight36. So, I'll be posting as DarKnight36 from now on, but I'll still be Wirdikov. (It's too bad, I liked my sig...)
OOC: I'm signing out, cause either I do or my brother does for me...I'll see you all later. And yes, bite me. He can't control himself sometimes. It's...interesting living with a rapid freak like my brother, but somehow...I...survive...JK. See ya.
OOC: Gosh, it's all right...It wasn't that big of a deal...But I'm sorry if it was confusing. I was trying to hurry...Cause my brother's trying to bite me so he can get on some more. Whose next?
OOC: Where do you live (general)? It's only 3:15 P.M. from what I can see. See you later, I guess.
"To answer your question, energy crystals," Xardius said. "They provide the armor I'm wearing with energy, so I can't get hurt. They also provide magic power and our swords with the same stuff. Anyhow, Vexneah, it's not worse...I just don't want you to see it. Sorry, maybe I'll explain later..." OOC: Not that a huge gory hole is bad or anything, it's just kinda a little gory. And the armor supposed to protect him and stuff, and it just doesn't make sense. Anyhow, if you have any more questions about the Guardians, willi, check out the Guardians of Larenska thread by Wirdikov somewhere around in the RP area...It explains it all in detail. If you're still confused after that, PM me with your questions.
"Their crystals ran out of power," Xardius said. "They had to leave, or die. I sacrificed myself to save them. As far as I know now, they are all safe. And, considering what the others have shown what happened after you became a Nobody, then I don't want you to see what happens next in my path..." OOC: He didn't have a "huge, gory hole" in his chest, by the way. Just a hole, like he'd been stabbed by something narrow. And that's that.
"Hello Noxas," Xardius said quietly. "Look," he said, pausing after about 10 minutes of walking on top of a hill. "There we are..." About 50 figures stood in the small depression made by the hills around them. Each one had a different color of armor, but all had the basic shape of Xardius' armor. "Now, the Heartless," Xardius said. As if on cue, the Heartless roared over the hills into the depression. Many were vaporized by the magic thrown at them by the guardians, but their number was too many and the Guardians were reduced to slicing with their weapons. Many were covered in darkness, but one stood out among the rest. Crimson armor flashing, the figure slashed the Heartless back methodically, flipping back and forth over his Guardians, slicing the Heartless away. As he did so, the Guardians he saved turned and fled into the fortress, but the crimson figure stayed. Eventually, the only one left, the Heartless swarming against him, the figure took off his helmet, revealing...Xardius. "I knew I was that good," Xardius murmured to himself, watching. "My true name was Darius you know..." Darius turned and looked up. Xardius smiled. "I remember now, I saw myself...and I knew what I had to do." Darius seemed to nod, though the distance made it unclear, then he charged at the Heartless, bashing them back, over the hill and into the plains beyond. He flipped into the heart of them, and all the light seemed to suck towards him, leaving darkness everywhere. Heartless swarmed towards him, but Darius shone like the rising sun, and then suddenly with a mighty roar, Darius unleashed the power accumulated, and fire exploded everywhere. Xardius shielded the others as the explosion consumed everything. Darius dropped to the ground, completely exhausted, bleeding from a massive hole in his chest. Slowly, he slumped from his knees to his stomach, and disappeared into darkness... Out of the darkness stepped a nearly identical Darius, but with glowing eyes and darkness seeping from the armor. Xardius clenched his fists and the Heartless disappeared. "Let's go," Xardius said simply, turning and walking back towards the door. OOC: Sorry about the length. See you, Soxas. Sorry about the name above, Noxas. Geez, this is gonna be really confusing. (I changed it to Noxas from Soxas....)
Xardius shook his head. "Look over there," he said, pointing. "This must be the day of my death..." Blackness seemed to seep from the ground as a massive army of Heartless appeared on the horizon. "This wasn't my first encounter with the Heartless," he murmured, "but it was everyone else's. We'd had relative peace, just fighting some evil lord who though he could control fire..." Xardius grinned. "He was no match for us..." He watched as the Heartless raced across the plains, leaving inky blackness behind. He pointed to the base of the mountains. "See that fortress? That's where I lived...That's the home of the Guardians...Now we'll be able to see this battle from the outside..." Xardius shrugged. "I'll get to see myself in action. This'll be fun I think. And you," Xardius said, turning to Vexneah, "will get to see me die. Won't it be enjoyable?" He grinned and began walking off towards the fortress.
OOC: Sorry, my brother abducted the computer while I was "away." BIC: "Then let's go," Xardius said, pulling out Chomper and tapping the sword onto the lock. It immediately sprang open. He walked forward through the doorway, and...into paradise. Cerulean sky met his eyes, unspoiled forests and plains as far as the eye could see to the north, west and east, and then to the south, a mountain range capped with perfect clouds, and spotted with snow. Xardius sighed. "It's good to be home," he breathed.
OOC: I guess I'll just hang around until someone comes back. BIC: Xardius stepped up to his door. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I can face my past alone. We can't leave without the others, anyway. Would anyone like to accompany me into the bowls of my...memories?"
OOC: I used up all my time reading everybody's stuff, and it's really good so far, but I won't be able to post for a couple of hours or so. Anyway, I'll come back then. Don't leave, though, cause I want to do something here too.
OOC: Drag me too, cause my sister's about to punch me if I don't get off. See ya.
"If I did, I don't remember," Xardius said, shaking his head. "My Heartless may have it, though...Or Coa does himself." Xardius scratched his head. "Anyhow, weren't we just in Disney Castle?"
Xardius walked on board and sat down in the pilot's chair. They lifted off after everyone was on board. "Where are we going?" Xardius asked, before turning to Wing. "Disney Castle" was the answer, so Xardius set a plot to it, then turned to Wing. "Yes to the second," Xardius said. "I'll explain the first. Loss of your heart leaves you with no thoughts, and no memories. When Coa regained his heart, he didn't regain his memories, or that piece of his heart. You could say that you are his memories...an incarnation of them anyhow...Perhaps from before he was a guardian. I didn't know Coa all that well before that attack. And, well, even though I was his trainer, I trained a lot of people. All I know is what I've found out from studying...and my own perspective since I became a Nobody. Anything else?"
Xardius watched his companions frantically scurrying and applying medication to Coa. Sighing, he walked forward. "I'm back," he said. He turned to Wing. "I believe you had some questions. Sorry I had to cut out like that..." OOC: Sorry.
Xardius walked inbetween the rows of long tubes that stretched wide and long. Reaching the end of the row he turned and found an empty tube. Under it, it read: "Vexneah." Another one read "Wing." He even found one with his name engraved on it. "Xardius." "What is this place?" Xardius asked himself. "And who are all these people? Are they...the members of our organization? Then why aren't they all awakened yet...? And why are they here in the first place?"
OOC: Hey Geryl, TWTNW is our homebase, by the way.
Xardius walked forward out of the darkness. He had followed Geryl after warping out of the grenade's path into the mansion. Walking into the room where Geryl had disappeared, he tapped his chin. He walked back out. The door to the side was covered in rubble. With a grunt, he lifted it off and threw it to one side. "Now, let's see what this mansion is hiding..." Xardius said and he pushed open the door...
OOC: Sorry Wing, I need to take over Coa for a bit. Thoughts percolated into Coa's mind. He felt hands holding him, taking him. You'll find the answers you seek in the past... a strong voice told him. "Darius?" Coa whispered. OOC: OK, done.
