"Tera Roth isn't good or evil, not a murderer or a saint...He's twilight, just like his powers, and therefore our feelings are twilight about him. Tera Roth," Xardius finished, "can neither be feared nor trusted, loved nor hated...That's just the way it is. That's the way it stands." OOC: We'll just make it to the semi-finals or whatever today, where everybody else will make it too. Then the fun will start. That's where you'll fight Dragoon, if not in the finals. We'll have to the bad guys fighting other people too.
"Xardius," Xardius growled at Coa. "And yeah, we're in trouble. Maybe if I get Ziya over here..." He looked around. "Naw, he's not the greatest fighter anyway. I can take Highwind...but Tera Roth was the former guardian of twilight, that you are now Coa. He has the same powers and he's definitely a better swordsman. Maybe you and Wing could take him all at once, but don't count on it." He suddenly snapped back to the reality that he had three people who probably wanted to harm him staring at him like he was crazy: Vecked, Heaven, and an old guy named Dragoon. "Um, maybe we should split," Xardius suggested, laughing nervously. OOC: So in the tournament (tell me if this is fine) we have: Roxas, Larxene, Marluxia, Luxord, Demyx, Axel, Saix, Zexion, Lexaeus, Vexen, Xaldin, Xigbar, Xenmas, Cecil, Kain, Cloud, Sephiroth, Leon, Yuffie, Tifa, Seifer, Highwind and Tera Roth, Vecked and etc., and the Organization, correct? As well as a bunch of dumb Heartless and other assorted Nobodies.
"That's the best you can come up with?" sneered Highwind over his shoulder as he turned to the newcomer who was stepping out of a dark portal. The newcomer was dressed in an Organization cloak that covered everything but his chin. "YOU!?" Highwind snarled, taking a step back. Xardius looked back at the newcomer, surprised at seeing Highwind surprised. "Tera Roth?" Xardius breathed. "I haven't seen you in ages...longer than Highwind...Where have you been?" "Chasing my inner darkness..." Tera Roth answered, pulling off his hood, revealing golden eyes and long brown hair. "But I can't go back to being a Guardian until Highwind is dead..." "You can't kill me," Highwind sneered. Tera Roth shrugged. "Then I will die instead of you. One of us must. I'd prefer it that I'm still around when you're gone...unlike you, I still have morales. I still have a heart." "So do I," Highwind smirked. "Mine's just buried in eternal darkness...like it should be." Tera Roth again shrugged. "I'll see you later...Xardius." Another portal snapped around him and Tera Roth was gone. Highwind snarled and darkness swallowed him as well. "This isn't good," Xardius said. "Tera Roth was just as good as I was...I'm better than Highwind, but...not Tera Roth." OOC: Cecil and Kain from FF4 might be fun, and then there's Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, and Tifa...Plus I think Seifer would be fun. (A more grown up one anyway...Think of it: the infamous Seifer vs. Squall match, lol). Anyway, those guys would be cool. Got it 13th....Maybe you'll fight Xenmas lol.
Darkness sprang from the ground and Highwind's form spat out of the ground. Highwind turned to the two groups and smiled. "Well, well, look who I found..." he smirked. "The Key Destroyer is going to be mine, you fools." "Afraid not, Highwind..." a new voice said.
OOC: Bye 13th, you getting on tomorrow? BIC: Xardius turned to see Vecked and smiled. "I'm actually glad you're here," he said.
Xardius looked around warily. The last time he had been here he had creamed Hercules in the face...He didn't want to be caught unawares. OOC: Let's have Hercules in the tournament, along with Hades (though we already fought him), the Titans (Fire, Ice, Wind, and Earth), Sephiroth, maybe some Final Fantasy members, and Organization XIII data splurge things...Would all of those work? I'm adding Highwind to this tournament and my other guy...But I'm not fighting them. Highwind can fight anybody.
Ziya stood up and shook his head groggily. "Yo ya bloody beings! Why in th' heck did ya hafta go an' hit me so bloody hard?" Xardius sighed. "Sorry." Ziya grumbled something. "I'm taking off now, so uh, see ya!" He opened a portal. "Coa! Come back soon hear?" Grumbling, he stepped through. OOC: I forgot about him lol. I gotta go, see you.
OOC: That would be funny...Sure, go ahead, have them in it. We can have Sephiroth in there too (pick like the greatest warrior of all time and pitch them against Sephiroth...*snorts*) BIC: Xardius walked up to Wing. "What can I do to help?"
Xardius flipped his arms out and Axel's Chakrams appeared in them. "On my journey I met a man who claimed he was once a Nobody, but that he'd regained himself after he was destroyed," Xardius said. "He told me a tale that if your Heartless is destroyed, and your Nobody is as well, then the heart and body will be rejoined, resulting in the incarnation of the original form. I hold his weapons. His name was Axel. That is why I want to be destroyed...I can't do it myself. I will ask the others as well...Thank you Vexneah. If you ever need anything, just ask." Without another word, Xardius walked back out of the room to the others.
"The day I either fade completely into darkness or I become what I was originally...a being with a heart." Xardius sighed. "I've been having dreams lately...strange dreams about my Heartless." He looked up. "I never told you what happened afterwards...did I? Well, here's the short version: "When I woke up, I was in darkness. But I fought against it. With sheer will power alone, or so I can guess, I forced myself into light. I became...a Nobody. Afterwards, still armed with the weapons and armor I wielded in 'life,' I traveled to all the worlds, learning from the people in them while searching for my lost heart. I found it...but it wasn't a pleasant reunion. After a bloody battle, I was left defeated...in darkness once more...Again I rejected it and came back to light...I still traveled the worlds but my hope was gone. That is, until I found the organization. Despite my faults, you have taken me in and for that I am grateful. But I must ask you of one thing: If I ever, through some miracle, find my Heartless again and destroy it, you must kill me. I trust you...you and Wing are the two I will need fighting by my side...I've already asked this of Wing. What is your answer?" Xardius leaned back against a wall and waited.
Xardius turned back around. "It's getting closer, I can feel it." OOC: Bad guys--Vecked (Nulix's older brother), Highwind (an insane dark wielder who would rather kill people than do anything else so probably won't be part of this group), Heaven (Vexneah's other in the knights), Judge Dragoon? (Must have missed him), and Demare (Kyzar's older brother). Good guys--Coa, Ziya (who might pop back in just cause I love him so much)
"No, I just wanted to ask you something," Xardius said, walking into another room. OOC: All right: Highwind--a maniacal freak who has succumbed to the ultimate darkness by his own free will. He retained his heart while he uses the power of the Heartless (almost impossible but he hides his heart with darkness so the Heartless can't sense it's there). He is a master of darkness and sword play, and getting close to him is dangerous, as you are never sure whether he will destroy you or join with you. Life is like a game to him, and killing others is how to accumulate points in his book. He's gotten so warped over the years, to satisfy his need for blood, he's wiped out entire towns before. He disappeared several years ago, but now has returned. I'll post more next time. LIST SO FAR-- BAD GUYS: Vecked, Highwind, Heaven GOOD GUYS: Coa, Ziya...anyone else?
"Then I wish you the best of luck, Darxess," Xardius said. He grinned. "Come back any time." With that, he turned and walked towards Vexneah. "Can we talk in private?" he asked her, folding his arms. OOC: See ya willi. As of right now, the villains that I have are: Highwind and another guy named ???? ???? who I will reveal later...Heh heh. Anyway, I also have some other guys I've introduced: Wirdikov, Ziya, and Coa, but I'll let Wing take care of Coa. I'll post stuff about them in my next post.
OOC: Wing is still a Nobody. But we could find Jaxed real quick and then Darxess wouldn't be a Nobody anymore, making him otherwise unfit to lead a bunch of nobodies as a non-Nobody. Get it? BIC: "Before you leave, Darxess," Xardius said. "Would you like to return to your original state?"
OOC: I think it's a good idea Nulix, just not Highwind. He's too insane. I have one more guy, though, that will fit in perfectly...And 13th, what do you say we go capture Jaxed, or whatever, and have you two "go into each other" kinda thing. That would explain you giving control over to Wing better, because then you're not a Nobody anymore, and therefore, can't lead the Organization!
"Perhaps," Xardius said. "It is time you returned to what you once were...Who is your other?"
"Understandable," Xardius said. "You've been around a long time. Nobodies don't last forever...How long have you been one?"
OOC: Isn't it funny how everyone's attention immediately turns to Darxess when he enters the room lol it was rather hilarious. Now I'm going to do it too. BIC: "It isn't what you thought it would be, is it?" Xardius said, leaving Ziya blinking on the floor and walking up to Darxess.
OOC: Well, Vexneah's come back from the dead...not sure how she died in the first place but...but as we were happily rejoicing about her resurrection, another Guardian of Larenska known as Ziya attacked. We kicked his butt, but Xardius got hurt, and now we're all chatting and stuff. Xardius is going to wake up Ziya in a minute though. BIC: Coa shook his head. "It's not fully charged...You got too much power Xardius." Xardius shrugged. "I've just stored a lot in there over the years. It's almost impossible to completely waste my crystal's power...Which is nice in a battle," Xardius said taking the crystal. "See?" The crystal shone and filled with power. "Fully recharged." He got up with the help of Coa, and walked over to Ziya. "Hope you can swallow pills, Ziya," Xardius said, stuffing it down Ziya's throat. Ziya swallowed, then opened his eyes.
OOC: Sorry...Last time I checked I type about 120 words per minute, but I make a lot of mistakes. BIC: Xardius opened his eyes and sat up. "Crystal," he said, holding out his hand. "Here's the deal, Ziya's body has been taken over by Highwind, mostly anyway, so we need to give control back to him by taking the darkness out." He pulled out the pill Vecked had given him. "The first nice thing you've done all year, Vecked..." he muttered to himself. "Must have been Christmas."
