Instead of a new skin what about just the ability to view khv in any of the old skins.
Its where you go to the start menu and you click on it and it saves the game. However once you turn your game back on it will force you to play it where you were.

The plot thickens after volume 5 and after volume 15 it gets to the part where you can't stop reading. And yeah unless you're really into it the story does get boring just playing the game over and over again
