It's a possibility but there is no confirmation. Also they could just make any plot up really. Look at Monstro. The only thing Disney about it was the characters. Not much of the original story was implemented in it. How would that work? There is no story in Fantasia.

Well the normal way to kill it is to kill the tenticlaws that come up from the ground while dodging the leechgrave's attacks. Then once you kill them go and attack the coffin on its underside. The risky way is to just attack the coffin a bit (and I mean a BIT) and then run cause the attack the coffin does takes away half your health.
