The hooded figure looked at the woman, relaxing slightly. What if what she said was true, what if she was one of the humans that tried to prevent this?
Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought.

Hided by the hood, a pair of eyes glared at the woman, trying to burn a hole through her soul. Even if she wasn't responsible, it didn't make her less of a human. However, if her feelings of revenge were true, then maybe she could be useful.

"Tell me, what will you do about the ones who have done this?"

The man was taken aback, moving two steps backwards. It could talk?
Petrified, the figure moved his staf over his head in a defensive position, not sure what was going to happen next.

    "What are you?" it demanded.

"What variant of beast are you?"

The figure hunched over, taking a more defensive stance. From deep inside his throat, he spat a gutteral laugh. Reaching upwards, he touched the cut in his shoulder cloth.

"Don't lie to me you beast! You're just a human. They are just as bad at the rest, only they live like fools. Only a human could ruin this land

Shaking, he hand squeezed on the pole, filling with pools of anger.

"Only a human can take her away like you're kind did!"

rushing like the wind, Tyler dove and hid behind the nearest tree. It was small and slender, barely concealing himself.

Why didn't he leave? Why didn't he do as that girl told him to do? even being here went against everything he knew about himself

The being glared under his cowl at the woman. She was one of them, no mistake. A member of the race that ruined everything. How dare she be here, how dare she even show her wretched face.

"Human" he growled, pulling a staff from underneath his clothes.

"What is your business here, of all places?"

Their world was broken. Looking behind him, Tyler saw a beast, a monster, cresting over the trees. He froze solid, all color drained from his face.

It couldn't be, it wasn't possible. Ken promised, he promised there were no such things as monsters.

    "No..oh god no..."

The figure stared up at the little creature, hoping to get a better view. That is, until it happened. Zooming past, a small blade whipped past the man and buried itself in the soft flesh of the moments old sakura. the fabric around his shoulder split and sagged, it barely missed him.

Turning around, the man hunched over and growled. He didn't know who or what did that, but he knew that it was an imminent threat, one that had to be dealt with.

    "Who did that?" he roared.
    "Show yourself!"

Standing below the tree, a figure gazed upwards, watching the petal rest on his shoulders. It watched the fox keenly, like one who gazes upon a jewel or some other form of rarity.

The figure appeared faceless, garbed and cloaked in fabrics colored as the earth and trees surrounding it. No face could be seen through the large hood and facial wrappings.

"What... are you?" whispered the figure.

    "How...how is that possible?"

Tyler stayed there with her, motionless as time stopped around them. They were here, with eachother. The world around them was nonexistant. Instead, they were in there own little world, where existed only them.

Not being able to talk, Tyler buried his face in her shoulder. He wouldn't let her see him cry. He stayed like that for a few minutes a most. It felt like an eternity to him.
