Darius nodded. "I am crazy, but not like that." He shrugged. "Maybe someday I'll tell you how I was there...and why. But as for now, just accept that I'm with you guys, through thick and thin. We've been brought together for a purpose, and to reject it now would be like rejecting freedom, or life itself. We have to stick together now. Your destiny has been set...even if you leave, you will find yourself drawn back to us." He looked at Kyrie at the last few statements, his eyes boring into her. "The worlds need your help," he said quietly. "Will you reject them?"
OOC: Um, right, never mind...
OOC: Hey, I'll be Auron. And a guy named Zaxor, if that's all right.
OOC: Oh, really? All right then. BIC: "Xegreny! Let's finish this!" Xardius yelled, grinning. He flipped back and landed near Xegreny. "Charge me up!" Xegreny flooded Xardius with power. Xardius laughed, leaped into the air and pointed a hand at Sephiroth, who flew into the air towards him. "Prepare to be defeated!" Xardius said, grinning as he began to glow. "Final Ultimagum Holy Form!" Light shredded from his hands and hit Sephiroth in the gut. Sephiroth disappeared in the light and then was gone. Xardius landed and both him and Xegreny walked off the field.
Darius shook his head. "It's not. I was there."
Tyrone shook his head. "You guys don't seem to realize we're in the middle of a battlefield, right now. We have to leave...right now."
OOC: What's happened...? People haven't been posting in the Updates thread again.........
OOC: What's going on?
OOC: Beyond nothing, nothing...We were cut off just before a major battle with a demon thing, so when more people come online, we'll probably finish it.
OOC: Well, I don't know about all of you, but I got about 50 database errors and then I guess (from what Star Seeker said), they turned it off on me, so I am still stuck in the middle of a big fight with Xegreny! I was rather unhappy, because I wasted the rest of my time trying to get back on... But enough pouting, more fighting! When Xegreny gets on (I'll be on later I think), we'll finish the fight.
"Yeah, what's it about? What's it called?" Tyrone asked, shaking his head.
"I'm Fred," Darius said, grinning. "I'll bet your name is George!"
"What would you have called it?" Xardius said, watching Cloud and Sephiroth both racing towards them. "I thought it was original." Energy opened up, Xardius spread his palms. "Now watch and learn: Holyga!" Light sprang from his hands, and struck both Cloud and Sephiroth, throwing them back. Sephiroth screamed and hit the ground hard, crumpling. Cloud hit and rolled, coming up. With a shrug, Xardius ran forward, Chomper flashing out as Cloud met him with his weapon. "We'll know who'll win!" Xardius cried, their huge swords clashing and rebounding, and clashing again. Sephiroth stirred on the ground...
Enigma struggled to his feet, and backed away quickly. "A beast from the world below...A demon." The demon roared and raced forward, ignoring any attacks against it, charging at the Guardians with murder in its eyes. Enigma pointed a bleeding arm at it, sword flashing in the sunlight. "We must destroy it."
Tera Roth winced and then moved like lightning, burying ten keyblades into the Virus, followed by twin swords, followed by the jeweled sword which beheaded it. With a cry, light sprang out and ripped into the Virus, obliterating it... Tera Roth touched his neck. He felt darkness seeping into him. Spreading his arms, he welcomed it... The darkness consumed him, and Tera Roth fell down, down, down...faster and farther than he thought possible... *** Xardius yelped with joy, and jumped into the arena. "Let's do it!" he cried, racing forward as both Cloud and Sephiroth appeared. "Xegreny! Alpha Plan!"
Tyrone turned to Kyrie. "What are you reading?"
Darius walked through the door with the others.
Xardius shook his head at Vexneah. "No. But as you grow, your magic grows with you. I can help you grow stronger." He shrugged. "My magic is so high level because I've grown a lot over the seven centuries I've been alive." He turned to Xegreny, and grinned sheepishly. "Actually, Ultima magic isn't something I can teach. It comes to you after mastery of the other elements." *** Tera Roth turned and stared at the Virus. "Do you need something?" he asked quietly, not attacking for once.
Enigma thrust himself forward, passing Lynn and clashing with something that no one else could see. He slashed with superb balance, his sword spinning in his hands. And then suddenly he was falling, slashes erupting in his mid-section and chest. He hit the ground and didn't move. The invisible opponent flashed into existence, a monstrous creation about the size of a human. It had long tendrils of violet energy erupting from a small head which housed a large mouth. Twin red eyes of pure evil moved from beneath ridged eyebrows. Long arms held curved scythes which coursed with dark energy, and its legs had backwards-bending knees and long curved claws. Its tail lashed as it roared in triumph, long teeth flashing.
Xardius nodded. "She's correct. Fire and ice usually cancel each other out to the extent that there is nothing left for me to absorb. And if you think I'm more powerful than you, I can fix that. I just happen to know high-level magic spells which I'd be happy to teach anybody here." He opened a palm, and named them: "The Ultima spells, though I add my own special breed to it, Firaga, Firaja, Firagun, Blizzaja, Thundaja, etc. The most powerful magic spells in the world, plus a couple extra." *** Tyre shrugged. "Despite what you may think, someone in the worlds cares about you." He turned and opened a portal. "I volunteered to intertwine my soul with yours, to connect myself with you." He smiled at her, a sad but still worthy smile...."Your soul sings to me like that of an angel's...That's one of my abilities. To read souls. Your's..." He raised a hand and look of sheer wonder crossed his face. "Is beyond comprehension in its purity." He smiled again and stepped through the portal...
