"Like I said, I'm just in training. Don't really have one yet." He smiled. "But I'm assigning myself to you and your group. No objections now. You'll be grateful you have me."
OOC: Yeah, I did actually... BIC: Tera Roth sighed and turned back. "Yeah, yeah, I'm just worried about Alyt...We made a promise..." Tears blurred his vision for a moment, but he blinked and they were gone. "I'm just stressed..." EDIT OOC: How's Xardius now?
"Alyt!" Tera snapped. "And I sent her to another world, where no one but myself can go! So you can't see her!" Throwing up his hands, Tera stormed off... OOC: Maybe I should get rid of the background stuff. Xardius is elemental fire, so I wanted a flame background, but that was the best I could get. Tera Roth I might cut the background off of. They didn't really have one I liked... But you're serious: you liked the older ones better? How so?
"A Guardian," Darius recited, seemingly from memory, "does not pick sides in a battle. His job is to protect those he is assigned to nothing more." He shrugged. "The only real rules are: kill those who threaten Larenska, kill those who threaten your assignment, and never fight another Guardian." He grinned. "Unless they attack you first. Then you get to kill them."
Enigma shrugged. "Back in my world, there were things worse than dragons..." He caught her glance. "Not that dragons aren't powerful, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that there were things more powerful than dragons...Things even I couldn't beat." He shrugged uncomfortably. "Don't look at me like that...I'm just relating my world to this one..."
Tera Roth growled something under his breath. "You knew that Kingdom Hearts has no connection to any of the worlds because they are sealed? And that the worlds can't be fully restored, even if Kingdom Hearts's light is released for the same reason? And that the Virus, sprung from the darkness on the surface of the worlds with corruption from the inner darkness of Kingdom Hearts, has only one weakness? And that is: the light within itself? You knew all that? You must be smarter than I thought."
Darius held out a hand, grinning. "I have a feeling we're going to be close friends..." He looked at her for a moment, then said quietly, "You don't mind being my friend do you?"
"It's a conjuration of Vecked's experiments, molded with the power of Kingdom Hearts, portrayed as a being of utter corruption." He shrugged. "It can't destroy the worlds, yet...Only the surface. If it hits the core, however, we're done for." His eyes narrowed. "That's why we need to stop it in the past. The present is becoming too dangerous." OOC: By the way, how do you guys like my new avatars?
"She still had a dragon," Enigma said, turning back. "Dragons are supposed to be powerful in this land, aren't they?"
Xardius twisted. "Heartless!" he cried, just before he was buried by Shadow Soldiers. *** Tera raised an eyebrow. "If you ever say that again, I will kill you," he said with barely contained anger. OOC: Tery Mc.Roth! What in the world...?
Darius punched Lynn through a wall. "Shut up, smartmouth. I don't need that crap from you." OOC: Darius is very violent, but it's practically impossible for him to hurt anyone. He's very practiced in the art of "violent but harmless comedy."
"Odette?" Enigma said, thoroughly confused. He sighed and slumped backwards. He stared at Kyrie for a moment, then stood up. "I'm going to fetch a doctor."
OOC: I'll cook things up for everyone here.... BIC: Suddenly, everywhere, at the same time, Heartless appeared, attacking every member and allies alike with voraciousness and speed...
Enigma crouched by Kyrie's bed. "She's alive?" he repeated. "Wonder what that means..."
Darius grinned. "At least one of you has got brains." He shrugged. "I am training to be the new Fire Guardian of Larenska. I was sent to learn what it takes to be a Guardian. Whatever you are trying to do, I will protect you all...as your Guardian. That is my job." His eyes narrowed, blue orbs in the center of crimson fire. "Got it?"
"What I want is unimportant, the question is what you want," Darius said, waving his hand in dismissal of the question.
Enigma strode through the town, lost in his thoughts. OOC: Hope everyone's at the inn, cause that's where I'm going to meet you all... BIC: Who was that woman? Idly, he found himself entering an inn. Looking around, he saw some of the Guardians scattered around the common room. Closing his eyes, he slumped against a wall, disappearing in the shadows there.
Darius watched the group from a rooftop. He had been sent by the Guardians of Larenska to learn what it took to be a Guardian. Idly tightening and releasing his grip on the massive sword's handle that was strapped to his back, Darius said to it without seeming to think it was strange that he was talking to a sword, "Well Chomper, what do you say? Want to join 'em? That's what I thought too." He released the handle and leaped off the building. "Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen," Darius said, sweeping into a bow. "I am Darius, a Guardian of Larenska...Don't care what you're doing, where you're going, whether or not you serve the dark or the light, I'm joining you and that's that. Got it?" Darius raised his eyebrows, folded his arms, and gave them a massive smirk.
