i say no,he didn't really have to,cause they could have taken those dusk hands down,but axel had to make up for the mistakes that he made,and to see roxas once more before he died.he also did it cause it would have taken awhile to defeat the dusk since they just kept coming after them.he made the choice to redeem him self for the wrongs he committed against them.but knowing how sora is,sora would have forgiven him for what he had done.axel proabaly knew this too,but i think he thought he didn't deserve his friendship and trust.although i am against him killing himself,i do think he did the right thing.

i think that the dress is a good idea.reasons why; 1.to prevent people from tearing down some else for what they wear. i.e.i have way better clothes than you.all your stuff is cheap crap,i've got the best stuff. 2.the dress code also prevents from gangs wearing there colors in school which may cause conflict between rivial gangs.(that's if you have gangs in your school) 3.with the dress code,people can't wear shirts and other stuff and has stuff writen on it. 4.prevents distractions of the oppisite sex cause of showing to much while learning in class. so i think that the schools have the right to inforce a dress code.
