From what I have noticed, nothing. Take the sword, you get +1 strength Take the shield, you get +1 defence Take the staff, you get +1 magic you get the Keyblade regardless of what you choose this time though. That wasn't the case in the first game. And you don't have to sacrifice an ability this time. Those are about the only differences.
