Envon took a step back, stunned by what he was seeing. The intruder was disappearing! No magic existed for this to be even considered with out some sort of incantation. Even if it was magic, he had had the mage guild set up wards against it. None of this was possible, none of it at all. It was as if a pawn on a chess board suddenly became a queen, or even a piece he had never seen. He had no idea what was going on and that made him feel trapped.
