The darkness slid into the room. Its voice sounded like dead leaves being crunched together. "Guess who?"
OOC: OK, I'll join, so long as you realize I might not be on that much. Characters: Dyran Dirge: Black hair, black eyes, powerful martial artist Xardius: Flaming red hair, blue eyes, crimson armor, and he has a really big sword Sorion: Black hair, blue eyes, black cape, various weapons Enigma: Black hair (geez I like black hair), green eyes, enigmatic personality, various weapons There you go. I'll try and get pictures for them.
OOC: ... Now you have to make a miraculous recovery. This guy's wack, so beat him up. He can't do anything but summon lava...and blow things up... BIC: The man paused again, and the lava dissipated...
You're added. Thanks Pirate.
The man paused, and the world seemed to twist. The sunset blurred as the sun darkened. The man stood considering Xane for a moment, then slowly raised another hand. Fire reached out everywhere and Twilight Town was no more. The man slowly began walking forward, towards Xane, as if it were a great struggle... OOC: He gonna kill you...
The man paused at the train. Raising a hand, the train full of people just exploded, along with half the track. The track toppled and screams could be heard as the huge cement blocks crashed into homes. The man raised another hand, and more flames erupted as more houses exploded. The man turned to stare at Xane, and raised his hand again. Fire erupted towards Xane in a molten stream, a stream that would wipe Xane from existence...
Dyran paused. Something was...wrong. Evil crept into him like the dawning of the sun. Impossible. Not here. The light was the key. It struck quickly and emotionlessly. As Dyran collapsed, he already knew what he would see: the face of his dead sister, his beloved Rainelle White.
The man who stood there seemed to have been waiting for him. His face was wrapped in bandages, as was his hands. A long white cloak draped over the rest of him, but large white boots could be seen at the bottom of the tip. The hood was pulled low over his face, but the bandages could still be seen. The man motioned to Xane, and then began walking with a slow but ground-eating pace towards Sunset Station.
Dyran wished he could believe her. But he couldn't trust anyone. Not after... His mind shied away from it. But a face popped up. The face of an angel. Goosebumps popped up on Dyran's skin and pain prickled through him. Remorse gathered in his soul, threatening to overwhelm him, but Dyran battered it down as he had countless times before. There would be time to mourn later. He had to be hard now. Harder than diamond. He stalked off towards the room's exit, seemingly unaware of the others' presences.
OOC: Well then, don't be there. Go to Twilight Town: Sunset Hill please.
Dyran rolled his shoulders, loosening tense muscles. He wondered how far he could trust the companions who had rolled into his life. Even after a few months, he didn't know much more about them than when he had started. Hardly thinking, Dyran cast a small Fire spell at the fireplace, lighting the logs on fire. "Just tired," he muttered. He sighed. "I need to keep moving. Something seems to be pulling me in different directions at the moment, and it makes me tired." He grimaced. "Do you ever feel that, Kayya? Or you Kira?"
OOC: .................. I won't even go there. All right, so like, where are all of you? On Strawberry *shivers* Island?
Dyran started and quickly shut the window, snapping the cold out. He turned to her, and shivered. "I'm fine," Dyran said, though his dark eyes seemed to say something entirely different. "Don't worry about me. Haven't had much chance to talk to you lately. How are things holding up?"
OOC: Heh heh heh, I'M BACK! And this time for good. Anyway, I hope you're ready to live this RP again. Here's the link for the RP itself, not just the sign-up: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?p=702742. I started it a little, so when you want to, head over there and join in. Thanks a lot!
Here's the RP thread for those of you who have joined in the Final Dirge. Link to the sign-up is here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=21921. All right, we're starting in Radiant Garden / Hollow Bastion, where I pretty much left off when I had to leave for like a week and a half. Horrible that. *** Dyran Dirge stared out the window at the cold night. The curtains rustled in the small breeze. Winter had come early this year, and snow glistened on every rooftop, but Dyran didn't feel the cold. They had arrived in late summer, and had spent nearly four months here already. During those four months, he had trained vigorously with a woman who called herself Tifa Lockhart, a hand-to-hand combat specialist. Dyran didn't consider himself a master by any means. But he at least knew now how to defend himself. He had never been very good at fighting. Shifting in his chair, he watched the sun coming up over the mountains. Another night without sleep. He wished it didn't have to be this way. He wished things had gone differently. He wished his sister was still alive.
OOC: MWAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm back!!! So, what's happened? UPDATE SOMEONE PLEEEEAAAAASSSEEE!
Death was cold. He didn't like being cold. Fire. Warmth. Must have warmth. The blackness revolved around him. Interesting. Suddenly, there was light. Warm light. He smiled. The light revolved around him, beating as his own heart. Heart beating? Only living things had hearts to beat out the time, the time until their death. Time had no meaning in death. Or did it? He was confused. His head hurt. The light pulsed in his eyes, slowly stopping in front of him. It expanded, growing. He felt himself stepping forward. Was he on his back? He felt himself lifted, his chest falling with what seemed his first breath in years, but he knew was at most a few minutes. Blue eyes opened. The light pulsed. Fingers clenched. Flames roared from the ground around him. His lips twitched into a small smile. He was back. *** Tera Roth sighed and gritted his teeth. This was the most annoying thing he had done all day. Tyre looked just as bored as he felt, staring at the ceiling. The man droned on. "It is very nice to see that others survived this great war that has left the worlds desolated, but I'm not sure how I see that you can be of any help to us. We have been doing very fine on our own." He'd said as much about twenty times now. Tera Roth could feel his teeth grinding, and he forced himself to stop. "If I may, sir, it is to both our benefits that we work together. Power combined is better than power divided, as is evidenced by...everything in the world. If the full force of the Enigmatic Knights had been at the battle between the Organization and the head of the Knights, they would have..." "...been crushed just as surely as they were. The Organization didn't suffer any losses," the man grunted, folding his arms against his armor. "We didn't stand a chance. They have too much power." Tera Roth sighed. He stunk at diplomacy. "Look, with all due respect, we both need each other's strength." The man snorted. "Why not join with the Organization. They're much more powerful than we are." Tyre's jaw seemed to loosen as he spoke for the first time after introducing himself. "Not necessarily. Even the smallest powers can overwhelm a larger if they work together." The man grunted, and Tera Roth looked at Tyre appreciatively. After a moment's silence, the man spoke again. "I don't see what that has to do with me, however, and my garrison." Tera Roth leaned forward, his eyes suddenly intent. "I want to stop this war, Captain, and I need power to do so. You and your garrison hold enough power to help me obtain my goal." "It's not enough," the man said, frowning. "The whole remaining garrisons of the Knights couldn't stop this war." "No," Tera Roth said, nodding. "But if you listen to my plan, maybe you'll reconsider..."
OOC: After I disappeared? Rather bold of him I think... All right, I'll be back on tomorrow. See you guys.
Yeah, you can join, I'll add you in probably tomorrow. Don't have much time today. Just so you all know, I'm probably going to move the RP to another thread so people can join here, and we can do the main RP without distractions there. We'll start at Radiant Garden on the new RP, and we'll all be in a Hotel. I'll add some new plots, but I'll need your support and stuff. I'll be back most likely tomorrow, this time for good, so I hope you all still want to do this RP...
OOC: *gives major blank look* Nulix said something philosophical that I missed? Enlighten me. How would I be proving Nulix wrong?
