Yeah that used to happen to me when I used WMM. Either get a better program or save often. Very often.
I tested my theory of playing as a different Navi. 4 things. 1) You play as the Navi of the newest code you enable. I enabled Tengu's then Tomahawk's and was Tomahawkman. 2) Disabling the code turns you into the Cross Navi you last fought. 3) Your health will be at 800. 4) You can revert to normal by disabling the code and then jacking out. Post the pics then. Any progress is better than no progress.
I was tampering with it today and I don't think there is a physical size limit. But if I used a picture that was over 1MB it compressed it to where it looked stupid.
Have to do some chores. Will test more codes afterwards.

All the <- codes turn me into Spoutman. After I turn it off it turns me into the last Cross Navi I fought. I'm gonna go on a hunch and guess that all codes that turn you into Navi's will, after they are turned off, turn you into the last Cross Navi you fought.
Let me retry it. Nevermind. I was being an idiot. Don't ask why. Tested the speed and charge hacks. They're mixed up. Speed is charge and vice versa. Attack is fine.
Tested the Health mod. Will only go up to 1000. Guessing that's the max.
Alright going to test some more. All the Multi chips are working except for the 10 chip. Is there a code to increase the MB?

Alright cool. Remember that's more of a priority than me testing hacks. And I come back saying the support codes are fine. As is the full library code. Though I have a question. What is the Cross Modifier codes do? I entered the one for BeastSpout and I didn't notice a thing.

Well I didn't become blastman unfortunately. I did become Tenguman though. It seems that you will keep that form everytime you turn off the proto code. Also I have got to go. Most likely I won't be able to test tonite.
Well if I do take there model there might not be a way to reset it. Testing now.
I am ALPHA!!!! Also I edited my post. I'm going to see if the effect carries on to Navi's you don't normally control like Blastman and Circusman. Though I doubt it it would be awesome if I could do that.
Yes it appears that I am unable to get any more bugfrags. Bummer. Ah well. I was Spoutman when I was originally doing the coding I went back to Mega and still no luck. I'll try more tests out in the future. EDIT! WAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I am a genius! Okay so here's the thing. If you activate the Protoman code, battle a Navi you can Cross with, then disable the Protoman code, you become the navi you fought. Further testing now. That explains why I was Groundman and why I am now Tenguman! To reverse the effect you must go to where you can use the Navi normally and choose to use it. Then leave and you will have reversed the effect.
