"Yes," Amy said in a cool voice. "The Ultimagum. Is that what you seek?"
Everybody always posts the old stuff over again. I've heard this time and time again... Anyhow... There is a connection between Terra, Aqua, and Ven, and Riku, Sora, and Kairi, as is signified by their names. Terra means earth, Aqua means water, and ven is a play off of ventilation or something like that, which boils down to wind. Sora means wind, Kairi means water, and Riku means earth. I don't remember where I got this from, but I thought I should bring it up. And reincarnation's possibility is probably null in Kingdom Hearts. But that's just my opinion.
Xardius shrugged. "He already knows..." *** Alan shrugged. "I doubt you could harm me if you tried." It wasn't arrogance. There was no trace of it in his voice. He was only stating the truth. He walked out across the floor. Immediately, streaks of light sprayed into the shield of ice and bounced away, reflected. He made it to the other side and the light bolts stopped. Reaching a hand into the suspended vertical pool, he closed his eyes...and nearly jolted back as something touched his hand. Drawing his hand back from the pool, he pulled along with it a beautiful young woman dressed in an elegant blue gown, the color of sapphire. She opened her eyes, also sapphire-colored. "My name is Amy Sapphire, and I hold the key to obtaining the ultimate weapon." "Holy moley," Alan breathed.
"I'M NOT CRAZY JUST BULL-ARROGANT!" Xardius screamed at the top of his lungs. *** Alan moved into a small crevasse and into a cave. "There." He pointed at the far end. "Your ice powers could come in handy. Would you shield me?"
Xardius stared at Yokai as he ignored the dark army that was beginning to surround him. "If you're jotting down notes," he said, "be sure to include..." He began listing all the things he liked about himself, grinning all the while. *** Alan lowered his arms. "Alan Graives." His chest felt hot. He turned towards the cliff where Vexneah had come from. "Do me a favor. Leave the brute and come with me. I need your help for a second." He climbed up the hill past her and began walking. "Please."
Xardius shrugged. "Better to take you out young..." He twisted to avoid the dark blast. "You remind me of someone," he grinned.
Alan glanced at her, and raised his eyebrows. "Personally," he said. "I don't think it matters to them." He raised his hands at the girl who was nearly falling on her face running down the mountain. "We're being attacked Geryl. You and Yokai distract Xardius while I take out the girl." A beam shot out from his hands, a beam of pure white fire. *** Xardius landed near Yokai and Geryl. "Howdy folks!" he smirked. "I'll let you take the first shot eh?"
Alan climbed out of the gummi ship. "That guy looked familiar. Wait...I remember. That's Xardius! The guy who attacked us!" He growled deep in his throat. "And he has the nerve to show his face again! I say we beat 'em up!" *** Xardius laughed again as he leaped over a boulder to pounce on the two... OOC: I'll take Yokai, you can take Alan, Star. OK?
OOC: Oh......we can fight each other though. BIC: Xardius grinned as he vaulted into the air and smashed into the nose of the gummi ship. With a whine, it nose-dived into a cliff as Xardius landed back onto the ledge where the others were. "Let's go," he said, and he charged down the hill...
OOC: I think I'll post the url of the beginning of the fight. This should be rather fun...We don't HAVE to fight ourselves, we can fight each other.
Alan shook his head as he sat down, mumbling to himself. "It's not that funny." He lifted up and headed for the coordinates. A flash of darkness erupted on a peak some ways away, and three figures could be hazedly made out. "What the..." Alan said, slowing the gummi ship down. "Who are they?" OOC: Heehee, I like being evil. We're about to get our first run-in with the Ultimate Organization...
Xardius stepped out onto a ledge overlooking a vast desert. He pointed to a small dot in the distance that was coming closer. "We're in the world known as Sapphire..." He grinned. "And that's our target." Hoisting his sword, he said, "Prepare yourselves." OOC: HAHAHAHAHAHA! People in Chaotic Worlds, beware! I did say I'd tie it in...Ready to fight yourself?
Alan glanced at the title, and nearly choked. "Um, it is titled: "Civilized Behavior in the Presence of Female Royalty: for Men with no sense of propriety.' Guess my meeting with the princess went worse than I thought." Alan climbed into the gummi ship, and started setting in the coordinates.
Xardius grumped some more, then said, "No, but there might be something we can do." He stood up and opened a portal. "Follow me."
"Yeah, sure, like what?" Xardius said, not looking up.
OOC: *sighs* Since I'm never here when anyone else is... BIC: Alan bowed low to the king. "Welcome to the kingdom of Sapphire, young man," the king said. "I am King Tartus, ruler of Sapphire. I hope you are doing well." Alan nodded. The king chuckled. "We don't find many people wandering our borders...Not many find our landscape hospitable." Alan shrugged. "We've been traveling a lot recently." The king nodded. "We found your ship without trouble, and transported your food and water here for your use. We don't have much in our stocks and any food that you could accede would be wonderful." He made it sound like a command, and Alan swallowed before muttering. "Feel free to have it." The king said, "Good!" and Alan got the distinct impression that he'd already used the food. "Now on to pleasanter things. As you probably know, we are currently at war with some other kingdoms. However, we have proclaimed a neutrality at the moment because we realized that the war was futile, our already low resources were plummeting, and no one can harm us in the desert of Sapphire. This is the only oasis..." Alan's eyes narrowed as the king continued. He didn't quite trust this Tartus... After about an hour of the king rambling about the intricacies of making a carrot in the gardens of Sapphire, a knock came at the door, interrupting him. "Come," Tartus ordered. The door opened almost before he finished, and a pretty young woman stepped through. "Father, there is a matter of some urgency I wish to discuss. I was informed that yesterday you found stragglers in the desert. Strangers, from their clothes, and then you found a ship, and I was wondering if...Oh." She was staring at him he realized. He bowed. "Good afternoon, miss, my name is Alan Graives." Tartus harumphed. "Forgive my daughter, Mr. Graives. Her impertinent tongue has run away with her again. You are both dismissed until later." Alan bowed again, and whisked out. Before he'd gone two steps out the door, the princess was hustling him into another room, where she preceded to interrogate him, after introducing herself as Princess Sophia, about what he was doing here. Alan explained as best he could, not exactly sure of what was going on himself. Sophia obviously didn't think it was good enough, but he managed to slip off when a servant came in with a letter for her. He got halfway down the hallway when a furious Sophia came running out of the room, actually screamed at him to stop, and began running at him. Alan didn't wait for her to catch up. Stretching his long legs, he sprinted down the hall. He lost her somewhere in the maze of hallways, but somehow ended up down below the castle. Scratching his head, and trying not to get caught, he snuck from shadow to shadow, peering around corridors. What he saw shocked him to his core. A giant machine lay in the basement, and everyone so often a laser glowed, and a being appeared. They were pure white... A name came up to Alan from a distant memory: a Heartless. They hadn't been seen for generations, having appeared in a giant war when the barriers had been ripped down. They had all been destroyed. Beings from the light without hearts: the Heartless. Alan shook his head, and began backing away. He ran into a wall...a rather warm wall. Turning, he stared up into the face of a giant stone-faced man, who cracked his knuckles. "Oh boy," Alan said. The man lunged towards him, but Alan's agility kept him alive. Three swift kicks left the man incapacitated. "Easy cake," Alan grinned. "Time to leave. I've got to warn the others." He found the others in their room. He gave them the run-down, then left for his own rooms. He found a book lying on the chair. Picking it up, he noticed a note falling out. On it was inscribed: "Find the Sapphire jewel and you will have the power to free this world of its dark past. Find the Sapphire." It was scribed in an elegant feminine hand, unless Alan missed his guess entirely. He hurried back to the other room, showing the others the map on the other side and the note. He didn't notice Princess Sophia slipping from his closet and hurrying to her own rooms... OOC: So there you go. The "Sapphire jewel" is in the desert. Use the ship to get to it. Pirate will know what is there, once I PM, so I won't have to be here for it to continue.
Xardius grumped on the floor. He sighed, completely bored.
OOC: My computer crashed for two days. Sorry. BIC: Xardius arrived (after his fight with Vexneah's Heartless) in the ship with all the Disney Characters. He was immediately pounced on by the 100 Acre Wood characters. Buried underneath stuffed animals, Xardius screamed out, "HELP! I'm being mauled by inanimate objects!" Pooh laughed. "I'm Pooh Bear!" "And I'm Tigger! T-I-Double G-Er!" Tigger announced, sitting on Xardius' head. Xardius screamed again. "ACK! THEY TALK!"
OOC: I'm sorry, guys. My computer wouldn't load the site for a complete two days... Anyway, we're all meeting in the throne room to receive the info on Sapphire.
OOC: OK, it's time for the world of Sapphire! Sorry for the wait... BIC: Alan trekked across the sands, feeling as if his skin were being cooked. Ignoring the heat, he headed for the distant city. It was longer than he thought. Quickly, they ran out of water...too quickly. They had lost the ship in the swirling sands, and the city was still far away. Despite the heat, Alan felt cold. And thirsty. He felt like an oven, no a freezer. He didn't even notice when his friends began collapsing...He didn't notice when he did the same, wheezing... The last thing he thought was: Finally, some shade... *** The next thing he knew, he was lying on a bed, clothes set neatly to the side. Hurriedly he dressed, and looked around. It looked like he was in a palace. A maid walked in, saw him, and set her tray down on the table and scurried out. The tray contained water and two huge sandwiches. Alan's stomach growled, and he ate them hurriedly, then stepped outside to find the others. He was intercepted by two soldiers. "The others are safe, do not worry," one of the soldiers said immediately. "They are eating. Now, please, the king requests your presence..." OOC: Let's all meet up in the throne room. I'll take it from there some more, and we'll learn what we need to do here.
