It's possible that they forgot. It's possible they don't want to remember. Saix is very... emotionless and maybe he chooses to not remember. Axel though most likely remembered him. I mean he did become friends with Roxas who pretty much is Ventus. It doesn't mean that he really is in his heart. We never saw any proof that he was. The only hint that he might be there is the secret ending. Noramura might play it out differently. It might be that Terra ,if he ever returns, will have Eraqus's powers.
Worst Glitch: Lego Star Wars. That game had glitches everywhere. One was when you go back to a level where you have to fight Darth Vader. If you fall in this hole you can't get out because you're supposed to die in it but if you go back you won't be able to. Best Glitch: Pokemon G/S/C if you put a pokemon in the first box in the computer then changed boxes and turned the game right when it said "Saving don't turn off the power" you would have the pokemon in your party and in the computer.
There's a probably a history to the place they are in. Maybe it wasn't always there and was maybe in the realm of light. Maybe it's our world and something bad happened to it.
