"Um, sure," Xardius said to Darxess as they all crammed into an elevator. It took them to the top floor quickly, and Xardius led them down the long passage to the main doors. He knocked... And the doors flew open to reveal a tiny man as short as Vexneah with gray hair that hung in a long braid to his waist. "Hurm, you again, eh? Better come in then..." "Brine," Xardius whispered to the others, "is the second-in-command of the Prophets of Truth." "That's Prophet of Revelation, boy, don't forget it," Brine harumphed at him. Xardius smiled. Inside was several men and women crowded around a small table. One of them looked up. He was young and had short shiny black hair and emerald green eyes. "Welcome to Libary," the man said. "I am Brine, the Prophet of Unforeseen Futures and leader of this delegation. I believe you have a question...I will be happy to answer one question from each of you for one payment...Is this acceptable?" Xardius nodded. "Very well. What is your question?" Xardius stepped forward. "I'll go first. Where's the Brotherhood's base?" Brine smiled. "The payment will answer." Xardius frowned. "Fine, then, I guess I can wait...Anyone else want to ask a question?" OOC: Try asking about Brotherhood member's weaknesses.
Xardius landed the gummi ship softly on the small landing pad, and motioned everyone out. "We're headed for the really big building over there, top floor...That's where the Prophets of Truth Main Delegation meets...They'll tell us what we need to know."
OOC: Pretty sweet Nulix. Alrighty, it's time for the Prophets of Truth! BIC: Xardius woke up with a start, and looked at the navigator. "2 and a half minutes and we're at Libary!" Xardius called to everyone.
Xardius looked back over his shoulder at Nulix. "You know, I've been asking myself whether the Ultimate Organization is really doing the right thing...and I believe I've come up with an answer. Our intentions are all well and good, but our actions aren't. We need to be more careful...Running around, fixing everybody's problems...Our solutions aren't necessarily the best ones..." Xardius shook his head. "I think we need to let other people solve their own problems. Sure, we're powerful, and most of us are really smart too...But we can't make decisions for other people. We should have let the Air Army fix their own problems, after notifying them of the situation...Instead, we bulled our way in and things escalated to the point of destruction." "Right now, I don't have an answer to what we need to do. Right now, the Brotherhood's my main priority, because I know if we don't take action now, the Brotherhood is going to wipe out every single living being on every single world...They won't stop unless we stop them. Right now, it's a stalemate. The Brotherhood hasn't been able to fully access the light worlds. But I just got word three days ago...The gate at Larenska has been fully opened, and the Brotherhood can now fully enter our worlds. They're going to be coming here, and they're going to be killing everyone they can." "After we destroy the Brotherhood, I agree, Nulix, that we need to review our methods in how we deal with problems. But as for right now, dwelling on the past will only dull our reactions to the present, and that, at least for the moment, is lethal." "Just let it go, Nulix...at least...for now." Xardius turned around and closed his eyes. "We should be arriving shortly."
"Oh, right," Xardius said, hitting in the coordinates for the world that hosted the Prophets of Truth...otherwise known as Libary (pronounced Le-bu-ree).
Xardius stuck his tongue out at her, and stomped into the gummi ship. "Hurry up Xane!" he called, and turned the engine on. "Ooh, purr baby...Uh, how do I fly this again?"
OOC: Sorry, I was messing with the Heroes thread... BIC: Xardius laughed at Bellatrix and ran faster, and faster, and faster...right into the gummi ship. He landed on his back and rubbed his nose. "Ow..." he said.
"Whoo-hoo!" Xardius said, jumping up and down. "Race you to the gummi!" And he took off...
Xardius raised a hand. "Um, excuse me, but shouldn't we go to the Prophets of Truth? That's why we went on this journey in the first place right?"
Xardius yanked his face out of the cracked pavement. "Ow...AAAAAH! XANE! Save me! I hate snakes!" One of the snakes attacked and Xardius screamed as it bit at him. Instinctively, he slashed at it with his sword and cut its head in two. Then he began running around in circles and screaming.
Xardius leapt off the castle tip, falling down, down, down, down, down, down, his eyes closed... Suddenly they opened and Xardius' sword slid from its sheath with barely a whisper, slashing down and cutting the ribbons from Xane... Of course, Xardius landed on his face but that's not really the point...
Xardius sat in silence atop the highest point of Radiant Garden... A lone raindrop hit his cheek, icily burning its way down to his chin where it dripped down, down, down, down... ...hitting Geryl smack dab in the eye.

OOC: I'm writing Chapter Two of Book Two...I'll have you edit it Nulix, but it's gonna take about 30 minutes or so, and I won't be logged on, most likely, except in spurts...Sorry guys.
Wow, that sent shivers up my spine reading that. Thanks for adding the Wing and Oxyrt parts Nulix, and for editing again. As usual, it's perfect. EDIT: I'll write the next chapter now...Cause no one's here.

Personally, I think it's both. The RP really began to kick off after about Chapter 10, where we got Star and Light and Nulix coming in. Soon after we got Gambler and then we got me. I don't want to brag or nothin', but us five, joined up with Wing who had hidden potential all along, turned the RP into a raging monster. Others joined in and we have the RP we have today, where everybody contributes pretty equally (besides me and Nulix but we're both overachievers who like having twenty billion characters to control, go figure). Anyhow, new chapter coming up soon.
