OOC: I don't know if anyone was there...wait Gambler you were...remember in Chaotic Worlds RP that we went to the world of Sapphire? It was a mega desert except for the area around the Sapphire cave where the Ultimatum sword was. So, if you're landing in a meadow, you're close.
OOC: The Ultimatum sword is what you'll be borrowing, hidden. GROUPS GOING WHERE: Xardius, Vexneah, Xegreny = Dark City (going after Marlene and Teresa) Darxess, Xane, and Wing = Ghost Town (where Eclipse last was chasing Simon) Nulix, Bellatrix, and Geryl = Sapphire? (I think)
OOC: Darxess should NOT have a beard or a mustache...that'd be so WEEEEEIIIIRRRRRDDDDD..... Anyhoo, for Eclipse's info, check the Enemies thread (I have everything there). In order to get the sword, you have to pass the following tests: A Trial of Strength A Trial of Courage A Trial of Charity You can make 'em up as you go, but in the end, Amy Sapphire, guardian of the Ultimatum, will come out and grant the sword to the chosen wielder. However, it's on leave, cause there's only one true wielder...and he's on vacation. And for my stuff, we're going to go to Dark City to start things off. Sorry I wasn't on today, was gone like the whole day...Like I was afraid I would be. And in response to the manga creators, I'd rather draw my own and upload them than draw them on the computer or such. Plus it's only trial basis, so it's pointless anyhow. But otherwise, it looked pretty neat.
OOC: Oooh, Jaxed, your team should go after Eclipse...............Heheh. OK, I've decided...Vexneah and Xegreny will be with Xardius, and we'll go after Marlene / Teresa. Sorion will have to wait, but we may fight him. And to introduce both Simon and Eclipse see below... BIC: Xardius nodded to Darxess. "I'll take Xegreny and Vexneah and go after Marlene and Teresa. Either they join us..." He clenched his fists tightly. "Or I'll kill them...this time for good." *** Eclipse moved silently, wraithlike, following the former Guardian Simon. His mission was simple: take him out. Simple right? Eclipse wasn't worried. Nothing could harm him... Simon stopped suddenly, and Eclipse ducked into an alley's entrance. "You gonna follow me all day, or tell me what you're doing?" Eclipse hesitated for a moment, then stepped out into the light, facing Simon. Simon turned and smirked. "So, you're a Brotherhood member right? Well, then..." Simon's sword swung out and sliced at Eclipse. Eclipse didn't move, simply let Simon hit him... Simon grunted as his sword rang out like he'd hit an unyielding metal wall. Eclipse smirked as he drew up his shirt, revealing his stomach...as titanium. Simon's eyes bulged as the metal spread upwards, enveloping his entire body. "You're dead," Eclipse said simply, and reached for his swords. Simon didn't wait, he turned and ran... Eclipse sprinted forward, twin katana blurring out to slice at Simon's back. Simon grunted in pain and threw himself forward, twisting in midair and throwing a massive ice wall at Eclipse. Eclipse, although unable to be hurt, was thrown aside by the impact from the wall. By the time he'd smashed through it, Simon was gone... Eclipse grunted. Scourge wouldn't be happy.
"I believe he was talking to me," Xardius said. "Right now, my main priorities are split: Scourge, Marlene, Teresa, and Sorion. Each have a connection to my past."
"Never been one for vengeance," Xardius said, touching his bandage. "Besides...it may have been Kardas who pulled the trigger, so to speak, but it was Scourge pulling the strings..." OOC: You know, I could always go with Xegreny and Vexneah...Even though Xegreny hasn't been on in a while, I still think we should have his character here.
Xardius shook his head. "Seriously, if there isn't room for me, I can be in my own group...Just chill. I can handle it. Besides, if I'm desperate, I can always get Marlene and Zane to help out...since they're both defective."
OOC: Xardius is a fighter. Period. BIC: "I don't care who I go with..." Xardius said. "I'll probably end up falling on my face anyhow." EDIT: "I could be in my own group..."
OOC: Hmm... Well, the problem with taking the Brotherhood in small groups is the fact that they're immensely powerful... OK, here's the deal. I arranged the list I made back a few pages in strongest to weakest, starting with Scourge and ending with Kardas. So up to, like say Sorion, we can fight them in small groups, but the last three should be fought with all of us. Sound fair? Plus, new Brotherhood members can be added in at any time. See you all tomorrow.
"Sure, but first..." Xardius said. "You know, when I first became a Phoenix, I couldn't control my powers very well. I ended up destroying an entire village of innocent people...I felt horrible. But that wasn't the end. I murdered innocent people to save some horrible guy that I needed for information...information that ended up pointless... The point of this whole thing isn't to show you that I'm a bad guy...rather, that everyone makes bad choices. But the reason for trials and making mistakes isn't to drag one down, but to let them grow from those experiences." Xardius sighed. "You're a really good friend, Bella. Just raise your chin up, straighten your back...shed your problems like water. Sure, you're not perfect...who is? But don't let it drag you down." "Now, I gotta go take a snooze from my very long speech..." OOC: I'll be back later (hopefully), so see you then.
"Actually," Xardius said to Bellatrix, "I can honestly say that you're the nicest person I know."
OOC: We met with the Prophets of Truth, and they told us Kardas' weakness, a member of the Brotherhood. We're now debating what to do next. BIC: "Get off it, Nulix," Xardius growled. "Enough about your depressing morale issues."
Xardius shook his head. "No, we're not. You wouldn't be pure of heart if you didn't deny it."
Xardius looked back at Bellatrix. "Well, maybe not..."
Xardius walked back to the gummi ship. "Well, we have a mission now.......But I know about the Ultimatum. Only one of pure heart can wield it..."
Xardius nodded. "So let's hear it...What's Kardas's weakness?" Brine nodded. "Very well. Your price is set. Kardas' weakness is this: He is a demon with an aversion of holy things. However, although these weaken him, he is controlled by Scourge and therefore unable to be killed by them...There are only two things that can kill him...The removal of his demon mark followed by the disintegration of his body by white fire, or to be killed with the sword Ultimatum. The sword Ultimatum is held on the world of Sapphire, guarded by some legendary being known only as the Sapphire. You may pay the price in that way. After you have destroyed Kardas, bring us the Ultimatum, the holy of holy swords, and the Sapphire, if possible." Sadoc bowed to them along with Brine. "Our audience is over. Good luck to you all." Brine straightened. "As to Kardas' location, I rather believe that he will find you than you find him...Goodbye."
"Unfortunately, we don't have that information," Brine said, sighing. "Zane would know, as he has destroyed Zaxor once before." Sadoc tapped his chin. "Are you sure you do not wish to know the weakness of Kardas?" EDIT: OOC: I'm invisible now too....*_*
Sadoc face-palmed. Brine shrugged. "The payment isn't in money...but we do have a job for you.... "I will name the Brotherhood members here: Scourge. Zaxor. Sorion. Eclipse. Enigma. Ella. Trent. Maria. Wraith. Nurii. Xeno. Marlene. Teresa. Novice. Zane. Azull. Jack. Vera. Xehanort. Kardas. That is all we know of so far... The weakest, at least at the moment, is Kardas. Do you wish to know his weakness?" EDIT: OOC: Sorry. BIC: Sadoc frowned at the members' discussion. "Scourge is of course the most powerful. But there's no way you could take him down, even knowing his weakness..."
