Michael drew his sword and stood defensively. Lucrecia heard Jecht call out to her. "What does that old fart want?"
Lucrecia regained her composure and followed him. "I can't believe I let fear get in the way back then."
"I'm holding you to that."
Lucrecia's face went bright red. "I'm glad we eventually tied the knot."
"At least I'll be able to attend yours."
"She made more than a friend." Lucrecia blushed a little.
"I used to do nothing but study when I wasn't sketching. I figured the faster I got out of school, the better."
"I can fend for myself." Lucrecia said, patting her sword. "That does sound like an odd twist."
"I always found it hard to go to school knowing I was a year ahead."
"As a friend, yes." "So who are her real parents?"
"I don't think the teachers will mind if I skip school tomorrow then."
"Tell us what?"
Lucrecia smiled back at him.
"That sounds great."
"Maybe your memories will come back to you one day."
"What happened to your other wing?" "Yeah, I was pretty nervous." "I think that day is when I fell in love with you, Hikari. After all, back then you were the only one outside the castle that would talk to me, and you shielded me from that mob. I remember both of us spent a week in the castle infirmary. After that, father let you enter and leave the castle as you pleased."
"Come to think of it, I haven't met your parents yet."
"I'm sure my mother would be happy seeing us together."
"Yeah, I remember." Tidus said, smiling.
"You saved my life that day. If you didn't show up when you had, I would have been killed."
