Looking around, Gendran started to notice that the buzz and pandemonium was beginning to die down. "Looks like they caught the guy. Maybe they'll get back to work as fast as they can."
Seizing his chance, the manic spat out the girl's flesh and crawled out from underneath the Gift. He flew down the hall, stumbling over his own feet. His heart jumped into his ears and deafened him with its loud, rapid beat. He was scared, utterly terrified. What a wonderful feeling. If only everyone could be as terrified as him" he thought. Muffled by his own adrenaline, he couldn't here his own hysterical laughter as he rounded the corner to the Manic corridor. "It's time we all had a little fun, wouldn't you say?"
The building quieted down, but there were still voices of fear and confusion echoing through the halls. He had lost them, for now. There would be more, but now he'd have a chance to hide. "Not fear, confusion." Gendran replied. "I've never talked to someone that was actually another someone at the same time. You have to understand that from a logical standpoint it is rather frusterating.
Well, needless to say, this was not the way Larenzo expected to die. On the other hand, he wasn't going to let it end this way either. Taking his chance, the Mad King bit into Eva's wrist and broke the skin. Tasting the blood almost had him in stitches. The fear, and anger, the taste of the primal emotions were so delicious. He started to laugh through his teeth almost choking on the red liquid he had stolen from the pseudo beast before him.
