I hate to admit this, but I'm not that surprised by what I'm seeing. Humanity has degraded itself into countless warring camps that seem to tetter on the edge or have gone over into fanaticism. Most of these things are over stupid, pointless things like which baseball team will win which game. Attacks on children over whether they like or hate a book doesn't seem that far off. Again, I don't like it, I think it is disgusting, but I'm not all that surprised.
