Lucrecia got ready to jump into the fight.
Lucrecia sheathed her sword and stood back to watch.
Cyrus sat next to her and watched over her.
Cyrus went into Aerith's room. "I can't let you fight him alone."
Hattori closed the diary and sighed.
Lucrecia drew her sword and defended the hooded man.
Lucrecia looked at the hooded man as she held Seth. "Is that you under that hood, Ryo?"
Hattori continued to read.
Hattori moved onto the next passage. "Toji and I went on our first date. He took me out to a lakeside resturant. I had such a wonderful time enjoying the sights with him."
"It's you again. Thank you for saving my son."
Hattori read the entry aloud. "Today, I met the nicest man. His name is Toji Najima, a martial arts master. I began taking lessons at his dojo to learn a few moves to defend myself, but I feel like I'm falling in love with him."
Lucrecia tried to pull Seth from the rubble. I don't want to lose another member of my family. Please gods, if you have any mercy, spare my son.
"It's too bad my mother was never there to see me grow up."
Lucia got up and started to dig her brother out of the rubble. Lucrecia dodged and knocked the jewel out of his hand with her sword.
"They were friends since childhood."
"I can only assume it was because of money. He started working at the lab to get more money so he could give my mother a better life."
Lucrecia slashed the emperor's face with her sword. "Shut your mouth, you monster."
"My mother looks so happy in this picture, though. She was truly in love with him before he started that horrible project." Hattori then came across a passage on the next page and quietly read it. "According to this, father wasn't always a scientist. He didn't start working at the lab until two years after he married mother. He apparently was a martial arts expert."
Cyrus looked downcast, then angry. "I'll kill him for doing that to you." Lucrecia ran at the emperor and attacked him.
Hattori saw his mother's wedding picture. "He looks a lot different than I remember him. It's like he turned into a different person some time after he married my mother."
