"Because they're a race of barbarians. They change the truth to justify their so called crusade against us demons."
Zeliek walked in behind her and ordered the provisions they needed.
"Ryo and I are cousins?" "That's right."
Zeliek noticed the townspeople gathered in the town square, executing a few demons. He glared at the spectacle.
"What are you doing here, mother?" "We're here to tell you two something very important."
Zephyr appeared next to him.
"Neither can I. That's why I've been out here training."
Cyrus looked over his shoulder and noticed Ryo. "Up pretty late, aren't you, Ryo?"
Cyrus was outside, training with his power.
Zeliek pulled up in front of the store and helped her off the cart.
"I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's completely necessary. I don't want any hunters trying to harm you or our children." Zeliek said as he drove the cart to the village.
"It keeps them thinking that there are humans living in the manor, so they won't send anyone out to investigate."
"I hate having to disguise myself like this, but the humans refuse to coexist with us demons. They would kill anything that isn't human." Zeliek said as he walked with her to the cart.
Zeliek also altered his appearance. He then turned to the servant. "Go get the horse and cart ready." The servant nodded and went to do the task his master commanded him to do.
Zeliek placed his hand on her head and transmitted the knowledge into her mind.
One of the servants approached Zeliek and informed him the pantry needed restocking. "We have to go to into town and get some supplies, Maya. It's time I teach you how to cloak your appearance to fool the humans."
Zeliek finished giving her the tour around the manor.
Zeliek smiled as he continued to show her around.
"I think it suits you just fine, like you were always meant to be here."
"Why are you nervous?"
