Lucrecia walked outside with Freya. She took her over to Ryo.
Zeliek kissed her and put his wings around her.
"We need to go hunting tonight."
Zeliek created a gem and placed it in the bottom of her staff. "Now you'll be able to store souls and draw them out for when you need to feed."
"What kind of weapon do you fight with?"
"We'll start training you tomorrow."
"We'll have to get used to your demonic power."
"I'll never leave your side. As I said before, we'll only die when we both fall."
"I don't think there's any way angels will stop fighting with us. They were the ones who started the war."
"Your ancestor probably wanted you to follow the same path, but here you are with me."
"I remember him. He sealed our kind and the angels away."
"I think we would have met eventually, but the circumstances would be more...grim."

Zeliek walked back in the room and saw that Maya was awake. "Did you enjoy your nap?"
Zeliek stepped outside and stretched his wings.
Zeliek smiled and left the room.
