Cyrus quickly pushed Ryo out of the way and deflected the blast back to Kuro, amplifying the attack with his own power.
"The only one who'll die here is you!" Cyrus said before attacking.
"Time to end this."
Cyrus held his sword and brought out his power.
"Ready for the battle, Ryo?"
"Take care, dad."
"We'll watch over them, dad."
"Yeah, you'll be okay, dad. There's nobody out there that can beat you, and uncle Cyrus will be there to help you."
"About what, dad?"
"What's wrong, dad?"
"Give him hell, dad."
"It's time for you to get going, Ryo. The sooner you end this, the sooner you'll be back."
"I'll do my best, daddy."
"So, I'm gonna have a new brother or sister to play with?"
"Come back home soon, daddy."
"Your father wanted to see you all before he goes off to battle."
Lucrecia gathered up the children in the throne room.
"I'll go get them together." Lucrecia said before walking out of the room.
Lucrecia got dressed and hugged him. "Be careful out there."
"That gives you another reason to come back from that battle alive." Lucrecia said as she slowly got up.
