"Do I have to?" "Yes you do, young lady." Lucrecia said as she set Lily down. "Good night, mommy." Lily said before walking to her room.
"Hi, son. Everything been okay while I was gone?"
The guards carried the enemy general to the dungeon. Lucrecia walked in and Lily ran up to her. "Welcome home, mommy." Lucrecia picked her up and hugged her.
Lucrecia headed back to the castle with the troops, carrying back the enemy general as a prisoner, frozen in a block of ice. "Sounds like mom's back."
Lily was playing with a doll her mother gave her. Lucrecia watched as her army engaged the enemy.
Lucrecia studied the terrain of the battlefield, going over possible strategies to use against the enemy. "I want there to be as few casualties as possible from our side. We'll slay as many of the enemy soldiers as it takes to make them lay down their arms and surrender." She said to her general. "When the enemy marches onto the battlefield, we'll begin the attack."
"I doubt Stark would give up being an angel to join us. Once he gets his mind set on something, he doesn't stray from the path."
"Last I heard, Stark became an angel."
"Take care of Lily while I'm gone." Lucrecia said before she walked off. "Why does mommy have to go, big brother? Is she going to come back, or is she leaving like daddy did?"
"Seth, I'm leaving you and Lucia in charge while I'm gone. I have to lead the troops into battle to quell the uprising in the west."
Lucrecia finished reading a report from the western border guard post and sighed. "First, my husband disappears. Then my sister heads off to another world, and now I've got a war on my hands...life's just great, isn't it?" She thought to herself.
"I wonder how our brother would take this. Both of his siblings are demons now. But then again, Stark was never good at thinking."
"So you've finally seen the light, so to speak."
"Really? Won't they send people to take you out?"
"What do you want with my sister?"
Lily acted like what they said didn't bother her, but clearly, she was upset.
"So I take you're here to try and kill me for your masters?"
The boys were flash frozen before they got too far. Lucrecia stepped into view with Freya. "You did a great job protecting your sister, Seth."
"The woman I fell in love with used to be human. I turned her into a demon, so she could spend eternity with me."
"I'm fine, brother."
