Zeliek got up and followed her. The children were awake, waiting for their mother to feed them.
Lucia waited for him to make the first move.
"Sure!" Lucia drew her sword and waited for Seth.
"Hi, big brother. Are you and sis going to train?"
Freya was outside, playing in the snow.
"Alright. We ought to see if Freya wants to watch."
"I'm gonna go train while mom is asleep."
"Still, I know he wants to come home and see his family again. The only thing we can do now is keep our promise to him and help mom."
"She still has hope that dad will come back, though. You think he will?"
"Mom's taking this pretty hard, isn't she?"
Lucrecia sighed as she fell asleep.
Lily slept in her mother's arms.
"I know. I hope he does come back, before Lily gets too old."
"Extremely tired, like I do every time I give birth. Be glad you're a boy and don' have to go through this."
"I don't know if he'll be back or not. All I know is he's still alive....somewhere."
Lucrecia took Lily to her room and laid on the bed with her.
"It'll probably last a week, so don't be surprised when I sweep you off your feet and spirit you to the bedroom."
"I'll be sure to help mommy take care of our little sister."
"Every demon female emits a musk when her drive is overactive. They only do that when they are with a mate. Male demons especially like that time." Zeliek said before kissing her.
Zeliek sniffed the air and noticed a strange odor coming from Maya. "Must be that time of the month for you."
