Lily walked back, carrying Ryuta. "You want to know why I've always turned down the clothes you've offered me all these years?"
"I'll go get him, daddy." Lily before running back to the castle. Cassima smiled at Seth.
Cassima stood up and took his hand. "Just let me know when you want to take a break, Ryo." Lucrecia said as she continued to make targets effortlessly.
Cassima hugged him. The targets then simultaniously begn to attack him.
"What should I do now, Seth? There's no home for me now." The targets continuously sprung up, faster than Ryo could take them out.
"Yeah. I feel a little better now." Lucrecia created a multitude of targets for Ryo at once. "I've never been able to do that before."
"It's better than nothing. It might just help keep you alive." Cassima sat up and stretched. She tried to shake the image of her murdered parents out of her mind.
"I'll do all I can to help." Cassima slowly started to wake up.
"I can watch over him while I help you. I have to make sure you stay alive long enough for you to see him grow up."
"Don't push me away like this, Ryo. I may not be able to help you much, but I'll at least be able to make training targets for you to focus your power on."
"Liar. I can read you like an open book. Face it, Ryo, you need my help."
"You were about to say it, weren't you?"
"Now I see why you're doing so much training. Anything I can do to help you? And don't say stay out of the way."
Lucrecia held him. "I'll have to help you keep your powers stable. From what you told me, we need each other to keep our powers from killing each other."
"It wasn't your fault, Ryo. I'm fine now, and that's all that matters."
"Why are you looking away, Ryo?"
"No need to. I'm able to walk again."
"Don't push yourself too hard, daddy."
Cassima cuddled up to him.
Cassima fell asleep holding onto him.
