Kael carried her to their room and laid her on the bed. Edric stretched and got up. "Time for us to head back home."
Kael kissed her again and smiled when he felt her tail go around him.
Kael held her close and smiled.
Edric smiled and kissed Sayu. "How did you sleep last night?" Kael gently kissed Aerith. "It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. The fact of the matter is that the Sindorei exists, and I'll let no harm come to our race."
"Everything will be alright, Arisa. Trust me."
Kael wiped the tears from her eyes. Edric slowly woke up and nudged Sayu. "Wake up, Sayu."
Kael held Arisa and sighed.
"I've already let them know."
"I already figured it out."
Kael stayed with Kiryl. Edric fell back asleep, smiling as he held Sayu.
"Yeah, all too well." Edric slowly woke up the next morning. He smiled as he watched Sayu sleep.
"I know what you mean."
"I can hardly believe that our kids are the founders of a new race."
Cyrus sat back and looked at his children.
"That's something mother would do with people she revived. She would give them the ability to change into an animal that mirrored the person's soul."
"When my mother brought you back, you became servants of the gods."
"You keep traveling around like that, the elder god might not let you come back."
Marcus sat with Miko, holding her close.
Edric smiled and kissed her forehead gently. He soon fell asleep.
Edric carried her up to their room and set her on the bed. He laid next to her and held her close.
