Silver fang looked up at Ken curiously.
Edric fell asleep next to Sayu.
Edric shrugged and headed to bed.
"What's in your pocket, Ken?"
"I didn't realize how late it was. We should get some sleep."
"Try not to fight too much. I can tell your mother is mad about that."
"From the look of things, you met our new neighbor's daughter. You didn't rough her up too much, did you?"
"Did you have a good walk, son?"
"Yeah, I've always liked the feel of the ground beneath of my feet."
Krysta hugged her back. "I like it a lot out here. It's so peaceful here."
"You know me too well, mom."
"I couldn't help it, he was practically begging to fight me."
"That I'm not supposed to be fighting at all."
Krysta sighed. "Fine, I started the fight."
"He was the one who started it."
"It was alright. I ran into our neighbor's son. Me and him had a little fight."
Krysta walked back to her grove. "I'm back, mom."
"It's just the way you're acting. I'm going back home now."
"You seem awfully depressed."
"I'm Krysta. My mom and I moved out here not too long ago."
