Silver fang ran to his mate as she gave birth. Edric sat with Sayu and smiled. "Is it just me, or is the grove expanding on it's own?"
"You should go see her every now and then."
Silver fang stretched as he took the bone. "You miss your daughter, don't you?"
"I met her while you had taken my place. We're expecting pups soon."
Silver fang sat with his mate.
Edric nodded and kissed her. "The kids must be up by now."
"He told me that he'll raise the pups to help guard this grove as well."
Silver fang barked in approval before leaving. "He says he'll still come by and check on us."
"He says that he'll be going back and forth between the grove and his mate's den. As much as he would like to stick with his mate, he couldn't leave his masters unguarded."
Silver fang barked again. "He says he found a mate while he was out. He'll bring her and their pups here once she gives birth."
Silver fang barked and nuzzled her leg. "He says he's fine."
Edric took her hand and walked back to the grove with her. Silver fang ran up to them and wagged his tail.
Edric nodded and got dressed.
"Right. Good old fashioned strength and ingenuity only."
"That sounds perfect. I'll have to do my best to win."
"I guess that would work."
Edric kissed her back. "That was different, but I enjoyed it. We'll have to change the rules of the game now. We'll have to swap roles every other time."
Edric nodded. "Yes I have, mistress."
Edric finished. "Do you want more, mistress?"
Edric moved harder and faster.
