"Something bothering you?"
Ghaleon walked with her, his tail still around hers.
The others left, leaving Ryo there.
"I'll get right on it."
"I can do some checking into it, but I don't know if I'll find anything."
Ghaleon felt his tail going around Maya's.
"I can't, but Lucrecia could. He always seems to listen to what she says." "What makes you say that? This knucklehead never listens to me."
"It's not something anyone would want to take. The artifact is filled with the essence of life itself. If removed from where I placed it, all life around where the artifact was would cease to be."
"The elder god sent me off to make some artifact and hide it."
"Sorry I'm late." Cyrus said.
Marcus had brought Cyrus just before the end.
Lucrecia sat down in Ryo's lap and put her arms around his neck.
Ghaleon put his arms around Maya and smiled.
The elder god sent Marcus to get Cyrus. The kids were waiting for Marcus to return.
Lucrecia smiled as she listened. She stretched her wings to relieve the tension in them.
"Might as well, sis. Haven't heard music in a good while, although the elder god has me sleeping in that damn cave most of the year."
"He's not joking. But then again, he's always had high standards."
"If Lily was your daughter, then you could only be Ryo, the god of darkness."
"Just who are you?"
"You don't mean Lily, do you? Of course she was stronger than I am, she was the greatest of all the berserkers from what I was taught."
