"No. Dying the first time kind of took all the fear out of it."
"How long have you been standing there, Minato?"
Hattori watched the sun rise and sighed. "I would have enjoyed seeing the sun rise if I wasn't already dead."
Hattori shrugged and turned back to the castle, picking off another scout he saw.
Hattori's right arm went limp. Metatron focused his essence to reanimate it.
"Just Metatron, why do you ask?"
"Only once, but if I die again, that's it. Metatron would die with me."
Hattori nodded. "I have to keep myself awake. If I go unconsious, there's a chance that Metatron's essence might lose its connection with me, essentially killing me again."
Hattori walked up behind Suki. "Head off to bed, Suki. Metatron and I have things covered out here." He then turned to Snow. "In a manner of speaking. I can't rest until my father lies dead."
"We've got to end this war soon, Hattori. I have no idea how much longer I can keep your body animated." "I know, Metatron." Hattori replied as he picked off a scout from the castle.
Hattori looked towards the castle as he stood on guard. He placed a hand on a large scar on his chest. "You were lucky I came to you when I did, Hattori. Without me, you'd still be dead." "I still am, Metatron. Only your essence and sheer will are keeping me alive enough to take my vengence."
"You all better get some rest. We head out at dawn. I'll stay up for the night watch." Hattori said before going back outside.
Hattori flicked the cigarette away and walked back inside. "Good to see you back with us."
Hattori also gave her some power and faded away. This worlds Hattori stood outside, smoking a cigarette. This war has gone on far too long. I'm surprised my essence has kept you animated for this long, Hattori.... Metatron thought to himself as he looked at his master.
"I would have come to see you sooner, but I've been too busy with the kids. You hurry up and finish your business so you can come home."
"That's right. You've still got business to take care of there."
The Hattori from her own world appeared before Minato.
Hattori carried Minato back to the base. "Miss who?" A voice asked Minato.
Hattori glared at Arisa as he stood up. "We better get Minato back to the base. Leave Arisa's corpse to be picked clean by the vultures."
Metatron grabbed Arisa to make sure she got hit by the knives while Hattori tended to Minato's wounds.
