Hattori laid down and rested his head in Minato's lap. Shin gently picked Arisa up and took her to the bedroom.
"I still feel so drained from opening that portal." Hattori said. Shin sat with Arisa, holding her on his lap.
Hattori sighed and laid back, gently holding Minato's hand.
"So her painful cycle is over now."
"I hope Cara found peace this time."
Hattori heard Cara's words and sighed. He passed her message along.
Hattori tried to scry into what Cara was doing, but he didn't have enough energy to do so.
Shin walked back in the castle. Hattori got enough strength back to stand up.
Shin looked at her, not knowing what to say.
Shin stepped into the garden after overhearing their conversation. "You're the only one that can make that sort of wish for your sister, Lesa."
Shin held Arisa tightly and smiled. Hattori wondered if Cara had accomplished what she set out to do. He sat on the couch, completely drained.
"I didn't keep you waiting too long, did I?"
Shin put his arms around Arisa and kissed her.
Shin walked to the castle to be with his wife, Arisa.
Shin stood at the entrance of the garden and saw Cara. "There she is."
Shin walked with her, keeping a hand on his scythe.
"I think whoever it was headed for the garden. I'll go with you, just in case they turn out to be hostile." Shin said, grabbing his scythe from his mother's grave.
"I saw someone that looked like you searching the coffin that held your sister's body. I don't know what they were looking for, but from the shouting they did, it wasn't in the coffin."
Shin turned and went back to his mother's grave. He had left his scythe laying against it.
Shin couldn't help but wonder what Cara had been talking about.
