Yuki turned the tv on and turned it up loudly to cover the noise.
Yuki sighed. "Fine, but don't do anything stupid. You come back to me in one piece." She said before going inside.
"If you're not going back, then I'm not going either. Besides, I have a harder time sleeping there than I do at home."
"So? I don't care if you're not human. You're too kind to be a monster."
"I've lived my life in danger ever since I got my persona. You think something like this is gonna scare me?"
"Why was it following you?"
"I'm not babysitting you. I'm protecting the only family I have left. I had to watch my parents be murdered, and I don't want to see you end up with the same face."
"Because you're my brother. I don't wanna lose you like I lost my parents."
Yuki summoned Lucifer to heal Zain. The spell drew on her own lifeforce to power it.
Yuki pulled her scythe back, the creature in tow, and finished decapitating it.
Yuki plunged her scythe into the creature's neck.
Yuki quickly ran back to her house, drawing her scythe. She knew that the shadows were coming out now.
"I'm gonna go run by my house real quick. I'll be back soon, Sakuya." Yuki said before jumping off the balcony.
"Where'd my brother go? I saw him jump out of a window and run off."
"I hope these dreams stay dreams. I don't want to see any of mine come to reality."
"Sounds like a dream I would have. This can't be a coincidence."
Yuki stepped out onto the balcony and looked at Sakuya. "Something bothering you?"
Yuki woke up a while later, her dreams troubling her again.
Yuki flopped down on the bed and fell asleep again.
"Believe me, if I get startled, they'll be the ones that are scared."
