"It was a long trip home. We had to deal with a few shadows along the way and the fight took a lot out of him. I think it's better that we go out for breakfast today."
"In a bit. Zane was pretty worn out last night and I want to make sure he's well rested."
Yuki slowly woke up and stretched. She found herself lying on the floor. "That's the last time I sleep on the couch."
Yuki sighed as she fell asleep on the couch.
Yuki wondered how Sakuya and Toya were getting along.
Yuki flipped through the channels, but didn't find anything interesting on.
Yuki went downstairs to watch tv. She couldn't go back to sleep now.
"I could get Lucifer to put an illusion on you as well. His nickname is the master of deceit, after all."
Yuki shrugged. "I have no clue. It should stop with time."
Yuki sighed as Lucifer reapplied the illusion.
"This happened when I got Lucifer. It mirrors my personality as I'm dual natured, as is Lucifer. Everyone sees him as an angelic persona when I'm calm, but when I'm angered, he turns demonic."
"Go ahead and drop the illusion, Lucifer." "Are you sure, Mistress?" "Do it." Lucifer nodded and chanted some words. A dark light shimmered around Yuki and revealed a pair of wings, one black feathered and one demonic looking.
"Funny you should say that, cause I've been hiding something from you, and everyone else."
"I...I don't know. It's like you're turning into something completely different."
Yuki slapped him hard, clearly angry. "Just shut up and be grateful that your sister helped you."
Yuki picked him up and carried him to his room.
Lucifer nodded and burned the spine.
Lucifer worked more carefully.
Yuki summoned Lucifer and he began to extract the spine.
Yuki muted the tv and peeked out the door to see what was going on. She dragged Zane inside.
