I simply reccommend books that I think are worthwhile. The Hunger Games was such a series. However, if you don't read it, you don't read it. You miss out on a great read, and that's fine. Read the Night Angel trilogy. It's such a good trilogy. But it's rated Adult for a reason....:|

I always felt that the books added so much more information. Honestly though, I don't really care when people spoil the endings for me. Since I know the ending, I can enjoy the story without wanting to rush through it to get to the end faster.
Yeah, they messed that bit up. To be fair though, it was a 2 and a half hour movie. The leg thing would have added too much length. First they would have had to show him not getting better, then the tourniquet, then the fake leg at the end. The one thing I'm upset about is after Spoiler Rue died District 11 rioted. In the book, they gave her bread.

I was just happy that they followed the story. After Eragon and Lightning Thief, I didn't have much hope.
