Not really. People will walk up behind me and try to startle me, but nothing. However, a few days ago, a friend was coming upstairs from my basement (lights were off) while I was going down (to get some soup) and I jumped about 2cm in the air. That's about as bad as it gets. I either startle not at all or very little. Which makes me wonder about my reflexes. My Bio teacher said that if you startle easily, it's just your reflexes reacting to danger. So if I don't startle and I get into a dangerous situation, will I get injured/die because my reflexes weren't fast enough?
That's ok, it happens. There's a lot of people on this site. ANYWAYS You're going to space to set up for a colony on Betelgeuse 7 or something. Betelgeuse 7 is a beautiful planet with water and proper gravity and atmosphere but it also has wild bankragens all over the surface. Bankragens which have eaten every single other person who's landed on Betelgeuse 7 and will probably eat you. Without wiping them out (don't want to damage that ecosystem) how do you deal with them so that you can start your colony? You may pick three members to help you in your work, but you must say why.
