Maddie went red hot with embarrassment. "Mother! Not.Here!" Rita looked up at Maddie and just meowed, then she turned towards Forrest and jumped on his desk, pawing his books.
"Well...I could...but that wouldn't be any fun!" Nick sighed and shook his head.
"Good luck!" She said, "You'll need it!" She smiled and transformed into her cat form, then began rolling around on her desk.
"Oooh, that's a great Idea!" Maya said, snapping her fingers, making a 10 tonne parcel appear above the boys, "Now." She said, twirling her finger and in turn, making the parcel move in a circle. "When should the music stop..."
"With Ms Ceravie, I presume?"
"You heard the man, shoo! go away!"
Maddie giggled, "Thanks" Rita sat back down at her desk. "What are kids in next period?"
What did she do there? Is there some sort of reference in that last part?
"What was all that about?"
Maya made the water disappear, "Is he okay?" "Dude?" Nick stepped in front of Heath. "Are you okay?"
"She's just kidding." Maddie giggled. "She wouldn't be aloud to do such a thing!...right, mum?" "I'm allowed to do it, and." She looked at Forrest. "I expect it to be finished in two days!"
"Of course I am! You can write a 1000 word essay on the subject instead!"
The buckets tipped slightly and a bit of water leaked out.
Maddie clicked her fingers and 3 giant pales of freezing cold water materialized above the boys. "Wan't to take a shower?"
"I told you it'd be too confusing, mum!" "Well, you solved it, and Forrest at least gave it a try." She turned to him. "I believe you've learned enough, chillax, and you can start chillaxing by copying down what Maddie just drew and explained.."
"Not if you keep on drinking booze!"
"Nope, Maddie?" Maddie walked over to the board and scribbled a few things "Note how the units were dealt with and that kg m2 s-2 is the same as joules. So from 1kg of matter, any matter, we can get out 9 x 1016 joules of energy. Writing that out fully we get..." She scribbled some numbers. "That is a lot of energy! For example, if we converted 1 kg of mass into energy and used it all to power a 100 watt light bulb how long could we keep it lit for? The first thing to do is divide the result by watts, remember that 1 watt is 1 joule per second." "How long is that in years? A year (365.25 days) is 31,557,600 seconds, so we get..." "That is a very long time! Of course, converting mass into energy is not quite that simple, and apart from with some tiny particles in experimental situations has never been carried out with 100% efficiency. Perhaps that’s just as well."
She raised her eyebrows. "And I suppose burning holes in walls and committing arson is part of 'being careful'?"
Yup, there's plenty of wit in the games, and the music is just awesome! You should definitely give it a try
"Good, I'll let you chose where you sit, now." She quickly wrote a formula up on the board. "Forrest, could you please calculate E=MC^2?" Maddie bit her tongue. "Don't'cha think that's a little harsh for the first day?" "Nope"
