"It's seems that there's a time of year when each one is at its most powerful, and hardest to control. The book didn't say any specific times, just things like 'every other year' or 'when the moon covers then sun' or 'at the sleeping moons wakening'.... The last one is kinda similar to what he said... That's what bothers me 'cause that's the one for the Gobi. I've been thinking about it, but I still don't understand what he meant." Satoshi sighed. "I'm starting to think he's just messing with us."
Wizard rolled off Becky's lap and onto the floor. "Kyuu?!" He rubbed his head. Dai took Wizard's fall as distraction. She got off the chair and picked up Wizard. She rocked him like a baby. "...Alright... I do..." She said quietly. "But it's not like anything can happen between us." Wizard wriggled out of Dai's arms and started running around the room, sniffing everything he could get his nose into.
Dai blushed. "I- I didn't say anything about that! I was just... wondering. He's my enemy and for all you know I could be trying to get inside information on him!" She tried to cover, but her cheeks were still red. OOC: i'll be right back. dog walkies ^.^
Hikaru found herself lost in the man's eyes. He was mysterious and she was glad that someone as cute as him was the one willing to help her. She nervously played with her ponytail.
Rei sighed and flew upwards quickly just as Akari and Akito came outside. They better not want another fight. "Rei-san...." Dai felt a smile play at her lips at the thought of him. "What's he like?"
THE BLACK PARADE- MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
"What do you do that's not normal? Besides be an Ayume." Dai didn't think that Becky's life was as unnormal as her own.
"Not any cheery ones. I did do some research on the Bijuu though." Satoshi didn't want to bring the mood down, but she hadn't spent enough time with people to listen to any stories. Training herself had occupied most of her time. Hinata came across Kiba and Akamaru. They invited her to walk with them to see Ino, Shikamaru, and Coujji train. She decided to go with them to get her mind off worrying about Naruto.
Dai smiled a bit. "Yeah." She sighed. "What's it like? Having a normal life?" Wizard's foot twitched. He was dreaming of lots of yummy treats.
OOC:........ now i'm bored......:(
Wizard snored and rolled over for Becky to rub his stomach. His tongue was sticking out happily. "That must be great. To just sleep, have nothing to worry about, and be loved." Dai muttered. "I envy you, Wiz..."
Wizard's ears perked up and let go of Becky's hand. He looked over at Dai. "Kyuu!" He shook his head. "Are you saying I'm wrong?" Dai folded her arms. She's figured that Wizard could read her thoughts due to the help he'd been giving her. Wizard nodded. "Kyuu..." He yawned and curled up in Becky's lap. "Seems he's tired from helping you." Grandma smiled. "You two make yourselves at home. I've got to go shopping." Dai escorted her grandma out and shut the door. She flopped onto the chair opposite the couch and sighed. She looked over at Wizard and smiled when she saw he was sleeping.
Wizard jumped off Dai's head and landed right on Becky's lap. "Kyuu." He held out his paw. "Seems he likes you as well." Grandma laughed. Dai smiled. Things are going nicely for once. OOC: gtg. i'll see ya tomorrow ^^ (i'll try to be on sooner ^^';)
''You're in quite a fix." Grandma let the pink magic fade and pulled her hand back. "Good as new." Dai came back inside, Wizard sitting on her head. "I think he was the one who was helping us." "Kyuu!" Wizard waved at Becky and Dai's grandma. "Oh ho! Dai-chan, you've found yourself a familiar. That little one won't leave you until it's dead." Grandma said. "Have you named him?" "Yeah. He made fireworks right when I met him so I'm gonna call him Wizard." Dai smiled. Wizard posed like a super hero. "Kyuu kyuu."
Rei shook his head. That idiot. He ignored Akari's lame answer. "Shouldn't you go help your little lacky?" "You seem like a smart girl. What happened to get you hurt so badly?" Grandma asked, almost finished healing. Dai jumped when a small, furry creature jumped out of the bush. ((see avvy ^^ [it's not a bunny like most people think -_-'])) She squated by the creature. "Hey little guy..." She reached out her hand. "I won't hurt you.... You're okay..." She crooned. The creature sniffed Dai's hand cautiously. "Kyuu!!" It bit her index finger. Dai winced but didn't pull back. She looked the creature in the eyes kindly. The creature released Dai's finger and backed away. It looked apologetically at Dai. "Kyuu..." "That's okay. I know you were scared." Dai kept her voice soft. "You don't have a home do you?" The creature shook its head. "Kyuu kyuu." "Then you can stay with me." Dai smiled. "Kyuu?!" The creature smiled and jumped up and down. Tiny, red fireworks eploded above its head. "Woah!" Dai fell backwards onto her butt. "You were the one helping me weren't you? You're sweet. I'll call you Wizard." "Kyuu!" Wizard jumped onto Dai's lap. He looked up at her, his tongue sticking out of his mouth cutely. "I've got one rule though." Dai couldn't help but smile. Wizard was just too cute! "... You cn't be seen by anyone accept my grandma and Becky-chan. Okay?" "Kyuu kyuu." Wizard saluted Dai to say that he understood.
OOC: read the last ten pages. that should be good enough to get you a rough idea. sorry, i can write a good recap right now. i'm doing lots of other stuff
Rei glared at Akari, his arms still folded. "What about you? You must know something about Dai-chan." "My, my. You look like you've been through a lot." Grandma sat next to Becky and placed a glowing pink hand on her neck. "This will hurt a bit, dear, but it should fix you up nicely." Dai slumped into a chair. "Hey, Grandma, do you know anything about red magic?" "I'm sorry, Dai-chan, but I'm afraid I've not done much research on magic since I left your grandfather. I only know what I knew before. So this red magic you speak of, I don't know." Grandma spoke as she kept her hand on Becky's neck. "Why don't you do some research?" "Alright." Dai got up and went outside, going to the bush that had rustled before she and Becky had gone inside.
"It sounds great." Satoshi said. But then, anything with Gaara sounded great. Hinata was about to protest but Naruto's tone made her think twice. Her eyes returned to normal. "... Okay..." She turned around and starting walking home but broke into a run after only a couple of steps. OOC: Legend of the Two Moons- Every four years in mid August, when the temperature is just right and there's a clear sky, a second full moon is visible in the southeast corner of the already full moon; it stays only for one hour. During that hour, it is said that wolves are at their most aggressive behavior. Once a wold finds a target, it won't stop until that target is dead; then it finds another. That should help you solve Orochimaru's riddle. >.O
Rei muttered to himself and mumbled a thanks to Panzela. "Sorry, guess we won't be able to find her for a while. I'm sure she's fine though." Kairuto sighed. "Yeah... She can take care of herself." Dai helped Becky inside. "Grandma! It's me, Dai. And I've brought a friend. She could use some help." Dai's grandma came to the front room. "Oh, how nice to see you Dai-chan. And who is your friend?" "Her name is Becky Ayume. I'm sorry if it's a bother, but could you heal her?" Dai said. "Of course, dear. Come sit." Grandma motioned to the couch.
Rei was taken aback but folded his arms. "I'll talk to you however I want." "Rei, be nice to her! She's friends with Dai-chan!" Kairuto reminded Rei. "Oh... right..." Rei sighed. "Do you know where Dai-chan went?"
