Hinata felt badly for making him think about it. She kissed his cheek in an attempt to make him feel better. "You should learn how to change a diaper first." Michiko ran a couple feet behind Sasuke. Maybe my dream will come true and I'll win! She thought excitedly.
Hinata laughed. "Naruto-kun, you really don't know anything about babies, do you?" Michiko stood up quickly and followed Sasuke. "I'm gonna win!" Sakura sighed and folded her arms.
"That's more than enough. I'm sure she'll have her answer by tomorrow." Orochimaru said. "So the Inuzkua and Kakashi were there....? It seems she has protection..." "What was that?" Sakura raised an eyebrow. Michiko didn't understand. She just smiled. "Now can we play?" Hatsumi got up from the table. "I'm done." She went into the other room after putting her dish in the sink. "You can do plenty of things. And there are things that you have to do too." Hinata said. "You can take them out and have people admire them. You dress them up cutely. You play with them. You teach them things."
Rukia folded her arms. "And he thinks that I'll listen to him?" "I don't care what he says, I'm coming with you." Kiba said, taking his hand away from his kunai pouch. Akamaru's ears and tail drooped. Rukia put a hand on Akamaru's head and squeezed Kiba's hand with her other. "I'll be fine guys." She paused. "Thanks." Sakura laughed a bit. "She smiles too much to be like you, so I'd say she's like me." "Who am I like?" Michiko asked, interested. Hatsumi just continued eating.
"Don't listen to him!" Kiba warned. But Rukia was listening. To her, Kabuto had a point. She shook her head and held onto Kiba's hand for support. "Who is he?" She whispered. "Yakushi Kabuto. He works for Orochimaru." Kiba whispered back. Orochimaru... Rukia remembered learning about him from Tsunade. He's supposed to have a lot of power. But that's not interesting to me. If he's sending someone to tempt me, then he must want something. What does he want? Hatsumi smiled. "And proud of it!"
Hatsumi shook her head. "Nothing's wrong." She said stubbornly. She sat down and started eating. Kiba and Akamaru instantly moved in front of Rukia. "Yeah, you are." Kiba was ready to draw a kunai and Akamaru's was growling. Rukia looked at Kabuto. Who does he think he is? She stood up. "You've got thirty seconds to explain what you want."
Hinata came back to Naruto carrying three bags filled with baby stuff. "I'm pretty sure that we'll need more, but this will have to do for now." Satoshi paced the width of her apartment, her arms folded. What's going on?! Michiko's smile grew. "Okay!" Hatsumi sat down. "I'll pass..." "Either way, breakfast comes first." Sakura said, setting their plates in front of them.
Rukia stood and jumped down from the roof. Maybe walking will help... She went outside of Konoha, not acknowledging the guards as she passed. She walked for about five minutes before sitting with her back against a tree. She shut her eyes. I guess I should apologize to Sasuke... She sighed. I shouldn't have come here... I shouldn't have looked into my clan... The only good thing that has come out of it is knowing Kiba-kun...Something wet ran along her cheek. Rukia giggled and without opening her eyes, she greeted Akamaru and Kiba. "What are you doing out here all alone?" Kiba asked. Rukia opened her eyes and smiled. "I could ask you two the same question." She scratched Akamaru behind his ear when he sat next to her. "Our team just finished training. Hinata-chan was supposed to be with us, but she didn't show. We haven't seen her since yesterday. Kurenai-sensei told Shino to go look for her. When he came back, he said she was 'busy'." Kiba explained. "He wouldn't tell us what she was doing though." "I see." Rukia kept petting Akamaru when she heard his tail wagging. "I just came out here to get away from-" "Sasuke-kun." Kiba finished for her. "If he's really bugging you... you could come stay with us." "Well," Michiko smiled. "We were all playing a game of hide and seek, and I won!"
Raven took Aiko's hand and squeezed gently. "Relax. I'm sure it was just a trick of the light." She said, though she didn't believe so herself.
"I'll bet that Rei and I can defeat Megumi within the next month. And if we don't..." Kairuto thought for a moment. "You pick."
Kairuto put his hands behind his head and smirked. "Wanna make a bet?"
"That's the problem. And with all the power she's gained, I don't know if it really has had an effect on her. All we can do is wait until tomorrow at school and see if something has happened to Dai-chan." Kairuto said. I hope she's okay...
Rukia tied her hair into a ponytail. Maybe I should just talk to him... Hatsumi walked downstairs, while Michiko ran down. Sakura smiled at the two. "Did you have good dreams?" Hatsumi shrugged. "I don't remember." Michiko nodded. "I did!"
"Rei just told me some bad news..." Kairuto muttered. He explained to the girls, Becky mostly, about the side effect of the connection of Rei's and Megumi's magic. "He also thinks that it affected Megumi too."
Whatever. Satoshi's mood was only worsening. She put the kunai back in its holster and started walking back to her apartment. When she got there and closed the door behind herself, her eyes finally changed back to their normal gray. "Honestly, Sasuke." Sakura shook her head. "She's your cousin, you should be nicer to her." Rukia jumped onto a random roof and sat down, watching the people going about their business and trying to calm down.
Orochimaru called off the snake; it disappeared in a large cloud of smoke. "Perhaps you should pay a visit to this cousin." Satoshi was just about to throw a kunai when the snake disappeared. "Dammit!" She grit her teeth. Why did it leave?! "There's a chance she will." Sakura said. "But I doubt it."
"Sasuke... You shouldn't be so harsh. Try seeing it from her point of view." Sakura said, finishing cooking. Satoshi balled her fists. "You're just in the way!" Orochimaru snickered. "An excellent suggestion." OOC: seriously, why didn't i think of that?! XD good going bro ^.~
Kairuto folded his arms. "... This is just getting harder."
Rukia sat up and put her hands on her head. Why does he have to be such an *ss?! She jumped out her window and started walking around Konoha. Satoshi flipped backwards and landed on the ground. Something inside her was craving for a good, long, bloody fight. And if Gaara was there, that wasn't what she was going to get. She glared at Gaara. "Shut up! I don't need you here!" Her eyes were still purple. Orochimaru sat in a chair in one of his hideouts with Kabuto in the same room. "... I must have the Sharingan... This time it has to be Sasuke... It's been two vessels that aren't him... The Sharigan must be mine..."
Kairuto rubbed his head. "Eh, that's not too bad." He paused. "... Has anything happened?"
