The protective coat of chakra disappeared and Satoshi opened her eyes. She put a hand on her head. "What..... Rukia-chan!" She sat up quickly and winced at the pain in her leg. "Ow..." She looked at Naruto, a bit surprised at how much he'd grown. Then she remembered what happened. "That voice...." Rukia shook her head. Satoshi was taking too long; she'd have to end this herself. Releasign the genjutsu, Rukia made hand signs. "Katon: Dragonfire Jutsu!" Flames engulfed the area, surrounding herself and Orochimaru and blocking Naruto and Satoshi.
Satoshi laid on her back on the ground unconscious, surrounded by a coat of purple chakra. The wound on her leg making a puddle of blood on the ground. Now I can focus on just one of them. Orochimaru faced Rukia, locking eyes with her. Rukia smirked, instantly casting a genjutsu. The ground in the genjutsu shot upwards to catch Orochimaru's arms even though he tried to avoid it. Orochimaru cursed and tried dispelling the genjutsu, but the genjutsu's strength had been increased by the curse seal. Orochimaru laughed. Rukia narrowed her eyes. "What's so funny?" "Your plan is pathetic." Orochimaru replied, still cackling. Rukia grit her teeth. I promised Kiba-kun and Akamaru that I'd be back. I'm not going to make that promise look like a lie. She had to hold Orochimaru until Satoshi woke up, and Orochimaru knew it. Get up, Satoshi-chan! "You're going to let that kill you? You weakling. You'd be dead if it wasn't for me. Use my full power. Kill him." Satoshi's wound started to heal. She groaned and try to move.
Kai left Kairi and went outside. Her hands glowed with darkness. Telren... This'll be interesting.
Orochimaru noticed Rukia's curse seal. He smirked. He knew that Rukia would have to use the power he gave her. Satoshi closed her eyes calmly. When she opened them, they were burning purple. "We're not dragging this out." She growled. Rukia kept her mind on her being and not the power she was using. She didn't want the power of the curse seal to overtake her self-consciousnesses. As the seal spread, Rukia found it harder to keep under control. "You two are a good team. Think about what I offered you. If you two worked together for me, you'd be unstoppable." Orochimaru said. He had a feeling this was going to get a lot harder soon. "We already know that." Rukia looked at Orochimaru, her Sharingan eyes filled with hate. "That's why we're working together against you. You're going to pay for all the pain you've caused." Without another word, she released the Fireball Jutsu. Satoshi took the cue and used her Windscissor Jutsu. Orochimaru shielded himself with snakes. Satoshi pushed harder with her jutsu. Rukia put more chakra into the jutsu, increasing the fire. The snakes were cut and burned, dropping dead to the ground. Orochimaru was hit by both the jutsus. Rukia cut off her jutsu, coughing up a bit of blood. She wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her wrist. So this curse seal power has a price. I'll pay it if it means he might die. The curse seal spread further. Satoshi's jutsu stopped. She drew a kunai and rushed at Orochimaru to give Rukia time. Orochimaru caught Satoshi's wrist. He took a kunai with an explosive tag from her kunai pouch. Satoshi pulled her wrist back. She kneed Orochimaru in the gut and held the kunai to his throat, about to cut it open. Orochimaru backed away from Satoshi just before she swiftly pulled the kunai horizontally. He plunged the explosive kunai into Satoshi's leg. "Satoshi-chan!" Rukia cried when the kunai exploded. She'd finally gotten enough control, but was Satoshi okay?
Orochimaru moved out of the way of Satoshi's jutsu. Dammit! Satoshi grit her teeth and looked at Rukia. Rukia gave a small nod. The curse mark started to spread. She winced but kept her eyes on Orochimaru. OOC: brb. doggy walk time!
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! You made me cry!!! I thought you were really leaving! *evil glomp attack*
Satoshi formed hand signs. Katon: Housenka no jutsu! Fireballs shot at Orochimaru. Orochimaru easily dodged. Rukia flashed behind Orochimaru, kunai ready to stab his back. Orochimaru quickly turned around and took the kunai from Rukia, using it to stab her stomach. Rukia stumbled back a step and pulled the kunai out. Satoshi made different hand signs and then put her hands on the ground. Earth Release: Hell Hole! The ground beneath them all split in two, causing a huge crevice. Rukia jumped out of the way of the hole. I need to get closer to him!
Orochimaru emerged, the snake turned back into his arm. He looked at Rukia and then Satoshi. "Don't get any ideas." Satoshi glared at Orochimaru. "We're not here to surrender to you." Rukia activated her Sharingan once more. "If you want my body, it'll be a dead one." Orochimaru smirked. He knew that fighting both of them at the same time would be difficult. Especially since Satoshi was a Jinchuuriki and Rukia had the earth curse seal.
OOC: gah! the 4th wall has tons of holes! XD and don't worry, i've got it all planned out already ^^ BIC: Rukia jumped back as a snake lashed out at her. She held out her arm in front of Satoshi. Satoshi stopped and looked for Orochimaru.
Rukia sighed, and tried to relax. "It's nothing, I guess." Her eyes returned to normal and she continued walking. "Come on." Satoshi looked around one last time before following Rukia.
"Cancel that; stop." Rukia ordered. She looked around with her Sharingan. I don't sense anyone's presence, but I feel like we're being watched. Have we already entered Orochimaru's territory? Satoshi stopped with Rukia and noticed she was using her Sharingan. What is she so paranoid about?
Wow, I thought you were older XD I started watching Naruto just last year. I'm 15 and I question the TV ratings on it. But that's not something I have control over, so I just deal with it. Sometimes you get to thinking, esp. after something like this, that you wish you could turn back time and make things right. I know that if I had a time machine, the first thing I would do is go back to 9-11 and cancel all flights.
"Don't underestimate me." Satoshi said, pouting slightly. "If I underestimated you, I wouldn't have chosen you to come with me." Rukia replied. "We're the best team to go against him." "But you're pretty smart, using his own power against him." Satoshi complemented reluctantly. Rukia smiled. "Thanks." Her smile faded. "What?" Satoshi asked. "Shh. It's nothing. Just keep walking." Rukia said. Satoshi looked over her shoulder. I don't see anyone.... Does she think we're being followed? She sighed, looking forward again. Now I know what Gaara-sama feels like when I lie to him.
OOC: ^^ you like time skips XD BIC: Rukia and Satoshi were on their way to where the latest news of Orochimaru had been heard. "Remember the plan?" Rukia asked. "Of course." Satoshi said. She was still a chuunin and Rukia had criticized her for it. But not everyone was great like the Uchihas and could obtain jounin rank in nine months. Satoshi folded her arms.

It's just so wrong that someone had to die like that. It gets you thinking about what the next young death will be like. What other unnecessary deaths can happen? And in what way? I didn't know Codey, but there's a hole in my heart for him. I guess it all comes down to the way Naruto is shown and advertised. It really isn't something kids (as in under the age of... let's say 12) should be watching. I admit that I like to learn the hand signs and stuff, but I know when it's too much. This is all just a big mistake... v.v
OOC: hooray for pikachu!!! :D BIC: After a while, Satoshi had found Rukia and Kiba (and Akamaru ^^) and had discussed the plan. "So when do we leave?" Rukia rubbed her head. "I'm not sure. We've got to move out soon, but I don't want to push myself too far just yet." Satoshi nodded. "We'll wait a couple days then." Hinata and Hatsumi returned to Naruto's house, Hatsumi holding a giant ice cream cone that was half eaten.
T-T i know what you're talking about. i found out about it yesterday. it was total heartbreak for me. I never thought Gaara's character would bring on such a thing. I'm sure Codey was a great kid and didn't deserve such a death, esp. at such a young age. but my questions are: why were ten years olds watching naruto? it's violent and kids their age like to imitate things they see on TV. and: why weren't Codey's parents monitoring what he was watching? my other concern about this problem is Gaara. He is not a bad character, yet people who do not watch the show think of him as one just because of what commercials show. now that this has happened, he will have to face more isolation and be even more ostracized. T-T
