Kai let herself be hit by Ashe's attack.
"This school isn't about being brave." Raven stated. "I don't want to endanger everyone."
Kai knew that would be hard to take on Ashe and Kairi in a fight; especially since she didn't want to. She refrained from using her swords, instead she used the power that she knew would convince them that she was with Telren: darkness.
Raven lowered her eyes. "... You're probably right... We should leave..."
Kai's heart skipped a beat. I have to-... Fine. I guess if this is what it takes. She fired more darkness at the two.

"That was close.... What do they want?" Raven thought aloud.
Kai couldn't bring herself to take the opportunity. This act was hard enough to pull off without having to hurt her friends. "This is the smartest thing I've done, Kairi." She fired a blast of darkness at Kairi.
Raven let her spell die. She went over to Lavara and helped her up. "Another one." She said more than asked.
Kai crossed her swords in front of herself. "Ask all you want, I won't tell. I like being with Telren." She glared at Kairi, making sure there was no hesitation or wavering in her voice.
Raven pushed as hard as she could with her magic against the creature. Come ON! She backed the shadow against the wall. She let the magic drop and then summoned a new spell to push the shadow into the wall.
"You don't understand! Don't act like you do!" Kai shouted. She rushed at Kairi, her swords ready.
Raven shut her eyes and tried pushing the shadow back into the wall like she'd seen the other one do before.
Rukia just smiled again and shut her eyes. Naive too...
Kai smirked. "I have thought. And I'm pleased with the decision that I've made."
Raven noticed the light and ran towards Lavara. She focused the magic she had in her hand and made it wrap around the shadow.
Rukia smiled weakly. "You're the greatest, Naruto-kun..."
"Scared of the dark?" Kai mocked, drawing her Doublesword.
Raven held her hand before herself and it glowed with a soft light green light. Now I can see a bit better.
"I didn't tell anyone what I was doing.... I thought you'd be mad..." Rukia said.
