1st: I very much like this one. Could use more color though. Add some light oranges (small amounts, at differing opacities preferably). 2nd: This one is pretty nice too. But again, add more color variation. It looks like you added a gradient map over the whole thing with 1 light color and 1 dark color and set it on lighten or screen. lol
Would much rather you get a better quality stock next time. Or maybe you did something with the effects to make it look like that? Either way, you should fix that. lol Otherwise, the effects could use some depth work. The fact the lighting isn't behind the guy or out-of-reach makes the light reflection on the stock seem pointless. Especially since the effects are so much better in quality compared to the stock. I think your only MAJOR problem is the stock. Everything else would be fine otherwise.
